So here I am right now trying to erase the thought of going to Kayode's house from Ire's head and that is when I noticed that she is so persistent. I even tried running but she appeared to be faster than me, so I'm here thinking to myself how did I meet this girl.

After what seemed like walking for eternity we finally came to a house that was at the verge of the forest. There were no other houses near it and that made me wonder if the person that lives here is a criminal or the person just wants to keep a low profile.
"We are here" Ire said and looked at me, she saw that I was scared and reassured me that nothing bad is going to happen to me.

She went up to the doorstep and knocked on the door. A young  woman probably in her 30s came from behind the door and hugged Ire, they started speaking in Yoruba but I didn't  even bother listening. There was something different about this woman, the way she looked, she had a different skin complexion from all of the other ones I have seen, she wore a different attire that made her stand out and she didn't look like she was from this village.
The woman looked at me and smiled.
"Welcome Oluwapamilerinayo, come here darling". She said and motioned for me to come and hug her.
So I went and hugged her. She seemed like a kind hearted person so I was actually no longer afraid.
"Come in Kayode has been waiting for you" The woman said and we went inside.

Inside the house looked neat and it was on the line between modern and old and it gave the house a nice look.
Just then a boy that shouldn't be more than 5 came out of a room and ran to hug Ire.
"Aunty Ire you came back" He said happily smiling from ear to ear.
"Yes Kayode I promised you I  would come back" she said and gave him a little peck on the cheek.
It all makes sense now Kayode is a small boy but why didn't she explain it to her parents? Her parents wouldn't have beaten her if they found out he was a child right?.

"Who is this?" Kayode said pointing at me.
"Well this my cousin Oluwapamilerinayo. " Ire said and smiled at the boy.
"Oh that is a really long name, well nice to meet you" He said extending his hand to shake me. I took his hand and at that moment we became friends instantly.

We sat down on the couch (Well Ire and I sat on the couch and Kayode sat on Ire's lap).
"Wait it is all so confusing now" I said thinking of were to start from.
"Um... Kayode  why don't you go and continue cleaning your room" The woman said.
"But I want to play with Aunty Ire" the boy told his Mom pouting.
"Don't worry I'm not going anywhere I just want to talk with your Mom" she said and pecked his cheek.
"Ok" he said and darted off into his room.
"Ire why didn't you tell your Dad you came here, he wouldn't have beaten you. You made it sound like you were with a guy." I said and looked at Ire.
"My parents won't understand" she said and sighed .
"But they also wouldn't understand why you went to a guy's house." I said sadly.
"No it is not that. I'm not allowed to come here" Ire said sadly.
"Why?" I asked curious.
"Well it is because I'm an outcast in this village" The woman interjected.
