"What do you mean you're going to Fenway by yourself tonight?" Brandon asked as Amanda as she was getting ready to head to her happy place for the night. "Because I need to get away from the night. Away from this house." She said as she applied her makeup.

"You mean away from me?" He said leaning up the doorframe of the bathroom. "I didn't say it was because of you Brandon. Don't twist my words like that." She said as she looked at him.

"What if you get too drunk to drive home?" He asked as she was packing a bag. "I'll get a hotel." She said while shrugging her shoulders. "I don't like that idea. You're gonna meet a guy and cheat on me." He said and she laughed. "Yeah because I would ever cheat on you." She said.

Little did Brandon know, that she had cheated multiple times. But so has he, so she had nothing to worry about. "If I'm not back tonight I'll be back tomorrow sometime... I love you okay? You have nothing to worry about." She said as she gave him a hug and a kiss.

"Alright, be safe please. I love you too." He said to her as he watched her walk right out the door not knowing what was gonna happen that night.

"Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls , welcome to Fenway Park." Was just what Amanda needed to hear when she was walking to her seats in center field to enjoy the game. She was wearing her red Boston Red Sox hat and her Mookie Betts jersey and a pair of ripped jeans and white converse.

She stood up and got closer to the wall when she saw that JD Martinez was coming to the center field wall to do his daily warmups and prayer, she secretly hoped that he would catch her eye.

She just stood there and watched in amazement and how muscular and big this man was and when he looked up to the sky, he saw her and instantly got a smile on his face. Amanda didn't think twice, but she smiled back and went back to her seat.

She knew that she would never meet JD, that's why she didn't get her hopes up when he smiled at her like any other crazed girl would.

In the first inning, JD called his shot and hit a homer a couple sections over from Amanda and she swore that he looked her way and pointed to her. Maybe it was just her imagination, she didn't want to get ahead of herself.

Her phone buzzed in the back pocket of her jeans an fit was Brandon who was texting her. Who was he pointing at? She rolled her eyes as she typed a response. How the hell am I supposed to know? She then put her phone back in her pocket trying to forget about him and enjoy the rest of the night.

Amanda, to say the least, was drunk and trying to find her way to her car after the game was over. Somehow, she found herself by the players entrance, how? I'm not sure. "Are you lost?" She heard from behind her and she turned around so fast that she almost fell to her butt.

"Woah there, easy." The guys said and she finally looked up and was looking into the eyes of JD Martinez. "Uh, yeah I'm a little lost trying to find my car and I'm also a little drunk." She said with a laugh as she straightened herself out.

"Well, I'm certainly not letting you drive drunk. So why don't we find your car together and bring it back here and let me bring you to a hotel." He said and she nodded. "Or you can just bring me to your house." She said twirling a piece of hair in between her fingers.

"I am not taking advantage of you tonight, I can bring you to my house but we won't be sleeping together." He said and she sighed and agreed with him. They ended up finding her car and JD drove it back to Fenway and then drove her in his car to his apartment on the outskirts of the city.

"Do you need any clothes?" He asked. "No, I have my bag." She said and he laughed as he looked around for the bag. "Uh, no you don't." He said and she looked in her hands and let out a groan.

"I must've left it in my car. I was prepared, but I'm drunk so there's that." She said. "Cmon. Let me show you to where you'll be sleeping." He said bringing her up to his guest room.

"You know, for a guy that has a lot of money, you sure do like to live simple." She said while looking around the guest room. "I'm a very simple guy that's all. There's a bathroom across the hall, go on and shower and I'll put some clothes for you to wear on your bed for when you're done. I'll be downstairs, if you would like to join me."

As JD left the room, Amanda couldn't help but notice how perfect this man was, even for letting a drunk fan sleep at his house that he didn't even know. She sighed and took her hat and shoes off and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

She wasn't drunk anymore, she had sobered up after her shower and when she returned from the bathroom there were athletic shorts and a T-shirt on the bed waiting for her. She changed and grabbed her phone and looked through all the texts that Brandon had sent her.

I checked your location, you're not at a hotel. You're at someone's apartment.
Amanda, are you cheating on me? You better not be.
You better answer me right now, I'm coming up there to get you.

She sighed and rolled her eyes as she made her way down to the living room and typed a response to him. Fucking relax, I'm not cheating on you. I met a fan who was willing to let me crash there for the night, no need to come up here.

Of she had lied, but she didn't care. "You seem upset, you okay?" JD asked as she sat in the couch. "My boyfriend is a crazy psychopath who thinks I'm cheating on him right now." She said and he smiled.

"You seem to not care about him." He said. "I really don't. I've cheated on him, but he's done the same to me. We're both too stupid to break up so we don't. I don't know why, because I'm pretty sure he doesn't love me anymore and I think I don't love him either."

"So why don't you leave?" He asked her. "Because I'm afraid I'll never find someone who loves me like he did." She said barely above a whisper. He sighed and motioned for her to come sit next to him.

She moved and he hugged her. "You're beautiful, don't ever think I guy won't love you again because you're damaged goods." He tried to let go of the hug but she laid her head on his chest. "Don't let go please." She said and he sighed but obliged and kept holding her.

Soon enough, she fell asleep and JD took her to the guest bedroom and after he laid her down he looked at her sleeping demeanor and sighed. He was going to fall in love with her, and fast.
