"I thought we were waiting until the end of the summer for this?" Amanda asked as she watched Brandon pack his stuff. "Well, when I see you all over the internet with JD Martinez, I can't wait until the end of the summer Amanda. Did you think that I wasn't going to find out?!" He asked as he stopped packing and turned around to look at her.

"Truthfully, yeah I was hoping that you wouldn't and that you would change and I would come back to you. But now that you're acting like this, I'm glad you're leaving." She said as she folded her arms across her chest.

"Do you know how many times I have wanted to up and leave you because I knew you were cheating on me?" He exclaimed. "I could say the same damn thing to you Brandon." She said back to him and he was fuming.

"But yet all the times you said you were staying at a fans house in Boston, when this whole time you were staying with JD! Do you know how much I trusted you when you said that? I cannot believe that you would betray me like this Amanda. I knew there was always someone else ever since that first night that you went there."

"So why didn't you just breakup with me then Brandon?" She asked him. "Because I freaking love you! Why shouldn't I trust you! We've been together over four years now, does that not mean anything to you?" He asked her and she really had to think about it because to her, the last year and a half didn't.

"I mean the first two and a half years did yeah, but the last year and a half with you has been a trip and a half with all the fighting we have done and the on and off, I just can't take it anymore and JD, he just changed everything in me."

He huffed and turned back around and continued to pack his stuff. Amanda's phone buzzed in her back pocket and she took it out and went into the living room to sit on the couch. It was JD who was texting her and she couldn't help but smile.

"Hi beautiful, when are you coming to see me?" He had texted her and she smiled. "Soon, I'll call you in a little bit, Brandon is here." She sent back. She heard footsteps and looked up and saw Brandon with all his stuff.

"Well, I hope you have a good life. I left everything that you gave me on the bed that I don't want anymore. I wish you and JD success. If that fails, I'm always here to talk and if you want me back, I may or may not be here for that." He said and with that, he walked out the door.

Amanda let out one of the biggest sighs and she was finally content. She pulled out her phone and called JD. "Well I didn't think later would be twenty minutes, what's up?" He asked and she laughed. "Well I had to share the good news with you." She said.

"And what may that be?" He asked. "Brandon's gone." She said. "What do you mean Brandon's gone? Like is he dead? Or is he out of your life and you guys broke up?" She couldn't help but laugh when he said that he was dead.

"No he's not dead, I wish he was. But we broke up. He saw the pictures of us in Houston and he flipped and he packed his stuff up and left." She said and she could practically feel his smile through the phone.

"Well how do you feel?" He asked, obviously concerned for Amanda since they were together for four years and he knows that she didn't want to throw the relationship away like that. "Surprisingly, okay. I didn't think I was going to be fine because being with someone for four years, you just don't get over them that quickly. Yet, here I am."

"You do know I'm waiting to ask you to be my girlfriend right? I don't want to be that guy that makes you jump right into a relationship when you just got out of one." JD said. "No, I totally understand that. Now I can finally try and sell this place and move up to Boston like I've always wanted to."

"You are going to move up to Boston?" JD asked and Amanda smiled. "Of course, I'm not driving almost two hours to see you every time. It's also been a dream of mine to live in a city, now I just have the chance to do it because Brandon always wanted to stay close to his family." She was happy that she could finally do what she wanted.

"When do you think you're coming to see me next?" JD asked, they were home currently against the Tigers and then the White Sox. "Well I want to get everything moving with getting up there. I'll probably come up for the White Sox series and then when you go on your road trip, I'll be getting everything together here and getting moved up to Boston."

"So when I get back you'll all be moved in?" He asked. "I really hope so, if not, I'll be crushed." She said and they laughed. "I gotta go, gotta take BP. I'll see you soon Amanda." He said and she smiled. "Alright, I'll see you soon JD."

Amanda did feel a little remorse doing what she did to Brandon, but little did she know, what she did changed her life for good.
