Ashley POV
I entered into the elevator when Nic caught up to me.
"Hey. How are you?" She asked. Probably Conrad told her.
"Yeah...I'm good" I said. "Ash... Lily's is getting me worried. She got admitted here last night" she said.
"Yeah, I've been informed. I've been busy with the bus patients. I'll visit her" I said. The door opened and we walked out.
"She is having a rash" she said. I scrunched my eyebrows.
"A rash? You mean an allergic reaction. I don't remember her being allergic to any drugs" I said.
"Yes ." She stopped dead in her tracks. "She had a round of chemo in Lane's clinic. She must have given something new" she said.
Both if us looked at each other worried. "I'll get Lily's reports from Hunter's clinic" she said. I nodded. She walked futher.
Why do I feel something is not right?

I came out from the ER after looking at a patient when Conrad joined me.
"Hey, found your missing man?" I asked. Apparently there has been some errors in identifying a patient.
"Still trying" he replied. I took my phone and checked if I had any message from Nic about Lily.
And I found none. I stopped, turned around and looked at him.
"Can I have a minute with you?" I asked. "Yeah, sure" he said as I pulled him to a room.
"Look, I know it sounds bad. But trust me. I don't think Lily is getting the right treatment with Lane" I said. He raised his eyebrows.
"I know, I am literally black marking your mentor. But trust me Con, something is not right. I am having this instincts. And I don't think they are gonna end up good" I said.
"Hey... Lane is one of the best oncologist in the country. You know how much lives she has save with her protocols" he said.
"I know, but those protocols are not right for Lily. She is becoming weak" I said. He held my hands.
"What do you think is wrong with Lily?" He asked. I couldn't say anything. Because I didn't find anything. Except that she is becoming worse everyday.
"Look, I'll believe you. But what proof do we have?" He asked. I just looked down.
I should find them.

"So how long till Shirley passes the gallstone?" The patients husband asked. They were an old couple.
"We're trying to get out of town for vacation" he added.
"Well it depends on how many stones there are." Devon said. I checked her pulse.
"Any decrease appetite or weight loss?" I asked.
"Shirley hasn't been eating much." The old guy said.
"Have you lost any weight?" Devon asked. "No much. A pound" the old lady answered.
"More like 15" the old man said. Me and Devon smiled at them.
"Your husband is very attentive" Devon said. "Howie worries. But he's not my husband" she said. Me and Devon looked at each other confused.
