"Minho, Newt, this is Sonya and Harriet!" I cheer, gesturing to the two girls as I plop onto a stool between Newt and Minho.

My friends smile, waving to the boys as they say hello, their eyes showing excitement. I'm so excited they get to meet the people who have become like family to me in the last four days.

I'll finally get to have my family back. It hurts that the other girls and Winston aren't here, but I couldn't be more grateful that I have the people sitting here with me now.

My eyes move from Newt to Sonya, my eyebrows softly furrowing. The two of them look very similar. I don't know if it's his smile or his eyes, but something in him I see in her. It's almost like she's his sister or something.

Frypan catches my eye as he dances to the makeshift kitchen, a giddy smile stretching across his face as he rubs his hands together. I let out a soft laugh, my smile growing wide like his.

I think I know where he got his nickname.

"Well, at least we aren't the only happy Sticks here!" Sonya says as Fry grabs a bunch of food plates, balancing them on his arms.

"I just hope all of those aren't for him," Harriet jokes, a joy-filled laugh leaving her lips.

The group laughs as the boy makes his way back to us, handing the five of us a plate of food, the aroma making my stomach rumble. I haven't had a full meal since the WICKED compound and this food smells amazing.

"Mmm chicken! Thanks Fry!" I say taking a bite of the chicken, a sigh leaving my lips at the flavor.

"No problem guys!" He smiles, a soft laugh leaving his lips as he looks at me devouring the chicken.

The guys get up, Minho looking down at me with a smile shining across his face, a laugh hiding behind his eyes. "We'll let you catch up with your friends." He looks over at the girls. "It was nice meeting you guys."

As the boys walk away, Sonya and Harriet turn to look at me, their eyebrows waggling up and down. I furrow my eyebrows, looking at them with confusion drawn over my face. They're such weirdos.

"What?" I ask, laughing as I take another bite of chicken.

"He's so into you!" Sonya cheers, a big smile spreading on her face. Harriet nods in agreement, excitement shining on her face.

My eyebrows furrow even further. "Who? Minho?"

"No, the tall one with the clown mask..." Sonya rolls her eyes. "Of course Minho!" She laughs, throwing a bit of rice at me.

A laugh leaves my lips as I dodge the rice, my eyes rolling as I shake my head. "You Sticks are crazy," I say, taking another bite of chicken and rice.

Sonya looks at me with disbelief shining bright on her face. "Come on Sandy, you're not gonna say you hope he does? Even if it's in the slightest sense?" She asks, her eyes staring straight into mine, her eyebrows raised in hope.

"Well.." I start, shrugging softly, not wanting to give away that I really do hope he does. It's all I've been hoping for since we found Marcus.

Minho and I haven't had many conversations, but every time we did talk, it was like sparks were flying. It's like a thousand fireflies burst through the night, making you feel alive and warm inside.

And everything in me is hoping he feels the same way. I want him to feel that too.

"I guess so," I say, taking a bite of my mashed potatoes.
