(Leslie’s POV)

            I awoke scared to death not knowing where I was. Then I noticed the machines all around me. What am I doing back here? I thought to myself. Then as always, I heard that sweet little voice.

            “Mama!" I looked over and noticed Corbin holding him.

            "Hi baby boy," I said to him causing him to smile. "Corbin?" I asked. "What in the world am I doing here?"

            “Just to make sure nothing got broken and you’re okay to go home, but they just wanted to make sure that you’d wake up because of the impact of the hit, it knocked you out,” he smiled.

            "Oh," I said. Then I looked at Mason, "Mommy is so sorry baby," I said tears welling up in my eyes.

            Mason smiled and big, “It’s okay mommy. Chad’s been taking really good care of me, and we’ve been watching his movies on his cellphone.”

            Chad… oh ya… Corbin played Chad in High School Musical series.

            “That’s great sweetheart,” I said looking at Corbin, “Thank you.”

            “You’re welcome. He’s been a great and sweet kid. I have a little sister, so it’s cool,” he smiled. “We got to sleep for a few hours, had breakfast and lunch down at the cafeteria, and been watching movies huh buddy.”

            “Yep,” Mason smiled. “He’s taken really good care of me mommy,” Mason hugs him; “I really like him.”

            I gave Mason a kiss on the head and smiled at Corbin, "Yeah, Chad is a very nice guy. Thank you so much." I said. Then I started to tear up again. "OMG is Amber ok? I tried to stop Nick I really did," I said as the tears start to fall uncontrollably.

            Corbin smiled, "Leslie, she’s fine; she was shaken up, but she's fine. She's with Chris, who is pressing charges on Nick and a restraining order on him, and a no contact order too."

            "Well I understand, it's for the best. I wish I knew what to do about him," I said, sighing. "If I had just given him sex, none of this would have happened. I probably should just stay with him for Mason's sake. He does need a Daddy."

            "I don't want to go back to Nick's," Mason said and hugged Corbin tighter.

            "You can't be forced to have sex," Corbin said looking at me seriously. "Leslie, I know that you want to be with him, but you deserve so much better then him. He said he changed, but after tonight, he went back to his old self."

            Then I felt a touch on my arm, "Listen to him baby... Nick just wasn't the one, someone else is..." I heard Matt say as I saw Mason smile and snuggled up to Corbin. "Life was just a hostess snack, and you've tasted chocolate, and you're never going back."
