The walk to the lake wasn't that far. There was an actual designated pool, but I didn't want to be one among the girls fawning over the cute lifeguard.

The lake was as dark as night, even during the daytime. It looked cold, but it was so hot and humid that I did not give a single ounce of a damn.

I entered the adjacent woods to strip down and dress into my bikini. No one else was at the lake; it was deserted. I really could have gotten changed on the beach, but there still was a chance I could get busted a second time today but for public nudity.

I stepped onto the sand, feeling the extreme heat radiating off of it. The heat burned my toes, so I ran the rest of the way down the slope into the black water.

I quickly got used to the freezing blackness, and dipped my head under.

Five minutes later I still had goose bumps dotting my body. I slowly started walking out of the lake, but my body froze when I saw Asshole and the rest of my bunk mates racing towards the lake. They didn't see me, because they kept running to the rotten wood dock on the other side of the beach. I quickly pulled myself out, grabbed my towel laying on the sand, and started jogging away. I only stopped when I recognized Jeremy's voice saying my name.

"Hey Ash! C'mon and join us!!"

I slowly turned to face them.

"Love to," I replied with sarcasm dripping from my words. "But I still have stuff to unpack."

"Liar!" Nathan playfully chirped.

I groaned. They both know I already have a burning, passionate hate for his asshole of a friend Chase. Why can't they except the fact that I never want to be near that sexist bastard ever again?

Jeremy ignored what I just said, and pulled himself out of the water and onto the dock. He jogged over to where I was standing.

"I know, you hate Chase, but Nate and I have a plan. And you're apart of it. Please, just chill with us?" Jeremy whispered.

"I will," I said.

"Awesome! C'mon, let's-"

"Hold up," I cut in. "I will if I can be in on this plan too, because I have a plan of my own." I crossed my arms and smirked in satisfaction.

"Fine," Jeremy's voice softened. "We want you to be around Chase as much as possible," At this point in time, I made a gaging noise in my throat. "I know, it's bad, but Nate and I want that to happen because he's such an asshole, and like all the time. He needs to be taught a lesson and Nate and I said 'Hey, camp is a perfect setting. Being embarrassed in front of people you hardly know really makes a great first impression.' "

I took it all in. We had the same motives. Now, how would we teach him his lesson. "How are we going to do it?"

"Nate and I had a few ideas....Short sheeting his bed?"

I laughed, and loudly too. What an amateur!, I thought.

"Short sheeting? Really??? Are you guys fourth graders?" He looked at his feet, sand clinging to them as if its life depended on it. "Sorry, I didn't mean to sound cruel, but I'm the master of pranks. You should glad that we're bunking together, but you should also sleep with one eye open."

"So, are you in?" Jeremy asked me at a whisper, making sure the two other guys in the lake couldn't hear him.

"Absolutely. Let's meet behind the dining hall after supper, including Nate, to exchange ideas. Whatever we're planning, we need to do it tonight,"

"Why tonight, Ash?" Jeremy asks.

"Because we'll start guessing ourselves, and the revenge will lose meaning. We need to pull this while we are still angry. Now it's my turn to ask; are you in?"

Jeremy extended his right hand towards me. I clasped his hand and shook it twice. "Deal,"

I made my way towards the dining hall at five to six. It kept everything to not sprint the rest of the way there and shove the first edible thing I found into my mouth. I hadn't eaten since six this morning, before the long drive here, so to say the least, I needed food; now.

It was silent, my walk to the dining hall. Only every 20 seconds my stomach rumbled, almost as if it could smell the food from miles away and it was saying Ash, please help meee.....

I arrived at the already full dining hall. The room was nice and warm. The aromas swirled around me and through my nostrils, making my stomach churn violently. I quickly located where the food line was.

I rushed to the line and got there right after some red head. When it came my turn, I took two plates and loaded them up with the night's special. Leftover pizza from the lunch earlier today and sandwiches. Any and all sandwiches.

You had your ham, turkey, roast beef, PB&J, grilled anything sandwich, and even more. My brain, tongue, and stomach could not even imagine the mouthfuls and mouthfuls of yummy food.

After I was done in the food line, I located a place to sit. Seeing as there were no completely empty tables my best option was to locate Jeremy, Nate, and......Chase.

Asshole, Ash. He doesn't deserve to have such an attractive name.

Well shit. My brain just called him attractive. Well sort of.

I quickly found Jeremy's semi-long brunette head and took the empty seat next to him. I heard a couple of "hey" 's from the table as I started to take mouthfuls of my food at a time. I was in pure bliss. The tomato sauce was perfect, and the cheese wasjust hot enough. The creamy peanut butter and the flawless made jelly was soothing to my taste buds. I was in food heaven, especially after not having food since 12 hours before. I was surprised that I didn't die of starvation.

Too bad that bliss food heaven was interrupted by none other than...

"Can you eat any faster, pig?" I could feel Chase's egotistic smirk radiating off of him. I slammed my pizza down next to my sandwiches and replied.

"What did you just call me, egotistical douche?" Before I could act on my anger, Nathan's strong arms went under my arms and he legitimately dragged me outside and behind the hall. I could hear Jeremy's heavy footsteps not too far behind.

"OK, listen hear Ashley," Nathan begin in a hushed tone.

"My name is not Ashley. It is Ash, and only Ash. My anger is already worked up, as you guys should know my temper is shorter than leprechauns, so I suggest if you want a revenge prank pulled on you and not Chase, then I suggest you call me no other name than Ash. Are we clear?"

The boys just stared at me with wide eyes. I could see the faint hurt. I then immediately felt sympathy.

"Oh, I am so sorry. He just got me so angry, and no body usually confronts me right after an outburst. I did not mean anything I said guys, I am so sorry."

I could see their postures lift up a little. "It's okay, Ash," they said in unison.

"Well I guess our revenge meeting is happening a little before than expected, but we should proceed with the matter at hand," Nathan said matter-of-factly. "How are we going to make the asshole feel like an ass?"

I immediately spit out what I was thinking. "I have the perfect plan...."
