The sound of people talking wakes her up but she was still collecting her strength to open her eyes so she keep it shut for awhile as she trying to figure out what happen.
I let out a loud gasp when i see what is in front of me. A simple but beautiful setting where beside the bonfire there is a set a table, complete with the rose and the candle on the top of it. Oh, and not to mention, there are even people playing cello and violin near the table, playing classic piece that I love.
"Wha-"
"Alexa Fox," he pulled me into his arm before staring at me deep with his ocean eyes that I have always been drowned into, "will you be my girlfriend?"
Right there, under the orange sky and before the sunset, I knew that he was the one I'm going to marry.
"Is she okay?" from her voice Alexa almost immediately recognize that it is Jasmine.
"Yeah, she's just lacking of sleep."
"Oh I see..." she let out a relieved sigh.
Gaining her strength back, Alexa slowly open her eyes, trying to adjust with the blinding light above her. The doctor do a little check up before excusing himself.
"Jaz..." she cleared her throat, 'my throat is dry, how long has I been unconscious?' she thought to herself and as if there is telepathy between them, Jasmine quickly reach for a glass of water and helped her to sit.
Looking at her friend, she weakly ask, "how long-"
"Not even a day, just 22 hours."
Hearing that make her even dizzier.
Then it hit her.
"Wait where-"
Jasmine gestured with her face, to the place near her and when she followed her glance, she saw him; burying himself on his arm that he put near her, on the empty side of her bed and now her eyes widen on surprise.
"Did he-"
"Yea, he accompany you since last night, he called me using your phone, thanks to me who put my name on your emergency contact list..." Jasmine's mouth was still moving but she muted her surrounding, her eyes on him.
'poor guy, he must've been tired' but then a moment later a smile formed on her face, 'thank you' she said inside her heart.
"Hello?? Earth to Alexa!" her best friend wave her hand in front of her face.
"Oh, uhm, yes?"
Jasmine rolled her eyes, "Are you even listening?" grabing her bag she kissed her on the forehead, "I'm leaving now, it's my lunch break and I only got 5 minute left before I'm late, which I don't want to happen because-"
"-yea okay I get it just go!" I playfully shove her away.
"Hahaha, okay okay, I'll pick you up at 5 okay? The doctor said that you can go home today."
Nodding my head she wave me a goodbye before finally walk out the room, making it feel so empty.
Looking around the room, she saw all her stuff on the table near her and with a joyful feeling, she reached for her laptop and opened it, only to find that she only got 29% of battery left. ignoring the number on the top-right-corner because right at that moment, her hand itch to type.
