"Alexaaaa" Jasime nudge her playfully, "soo feisty, I missed this brave side of you"
"Oh shut up." she said, rolling her eyes, "I guess I was just too carried away you know? It's just, the look in his eyes, for a split second reminds me of myself and at that moment I feel like hugging him..."
"Then why not?"
She throw a pillow to her best friend's face but this time she manage to catch it. Jasmin knit her eyebrows together and question, "Why? Isn't it like good that you guys got each other's back? You both needed to walk away from your past relationship so why not?"
Shaking her head, she walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water, her throat suddenly feels dry. It almost like there is a big lump there, waiting for her to release.
"Hey, hey, look at me," Her best friend put both of her hand on her shoulder, "It is okay, you needed some time to recover and life has given you a damn year, but it feels like you are not improving so life decided that you needed someone who can take you out from that pit."
After taking a breath, she continue, "It is fate. You can't fight it. It is life, you just have to live it." She pulled her on a warm hug while tapping her back, letting her to let it out, "Don't worry, I will always be there for you okay? If he turn out just the same then you can leave anytime because you have grown into a strong women but for now, let's just give him a chance yea? he seems like a good person to me."
"and if you will say 'Jack used to be blablabla' then you are wrong, from the first time you show him to me, I already knew that something is wrong with him but this one, he is one in a million and you will not waste a gentleman like him."
