new girl

Mr. Messner left the house and Emaline finishes getting dressed. "Let's eat and get out the door, we're going to be late."
They eat and go out to Emaline's car. "What do you think the new kid looks like? Are they a boy or a girl?" Kate says as Emaline starts the engine. "I think she's a girl, she's probably a badass, who wears leather and smokes." Emaline laughs. Kate smiles, "I think he's a guy, whos a complete jock and probably has this tough exterior but he's actually really sweet." Emaline looks at her and smiles. "Maybe"

They arrive at school, Emaline kisses Kate and then they get out of the car. She takes Kates hand in hers and walks down the hall. They stop at Kates locker, "alright babe here's my stop. Love you have a wonderful day!"
"Alright see you at lunch!", Emaline turns and walks to her locker. She sees a girl, looks not much older than her, stunning, has great hair, strong, but doesn't compare to Kate. So she turns and opens her locker hope the beautiful girl would walk away but guess what, she stops when she sees Emaline and stops.
"Hey, I'm Alex, what's your name, hot stuff?"  Oh, fuck is all Emaline can think to say.
"My name's Emaline.", she wants to say something like "go fuck yourself" or "fuck off I have a girlfriend" but she can't, she's trying to be nicer to people.
"Do you maybe want to get a coffee sometime, like on a date?" Damn, this girl has no shame. What if Emaline was straight and how did she know that Emaline wasn't?
"Sorry, I'm in a relationship."
"Haha, I've been there. I can treat you better than some man."
"Um no actually, I have a girlfriend." Kate turns down the hall and sees Emaline. Kate walks down the hall and stops next to her girlfriend, greeting her with a kiss.
"Hey, babe!" She says. Kate then notices the new girl," hi I'm kate emalines girlfriend."
"Oh so you're the girlfriend"
"Excuse me?"
"Never mind." With this, Alex turns and walks away to her homeroom.
