CHAPTER 3 – His Resolve
Xiumin’s POV
I called Sehun while we were taking a break from our friendly match.
“Sehun-ah, when are you coming here? You’re already late.” I told him when he answered my call.
“I’m sorry Hyung. I went to help out at my aunt’s bakery.” He explained.
“Oh yeah, today was the opening right?”
“Yes, hyung! I’m on my way there, don’t worry. I’m just around the corner of the street.”
“Oh really? I’ll go there to you, wait for me.”
“Okay. I’ll be waiting then, hyung.”
I ended the call and told Luhan and the others that I’ll go fetch Sehun and be right back.
“I’ll go with you, Uminnie. It’s been too long since I saw our Sehunnie!” Luhan exclaimed.
I nodded and we walked to where Sehun was.
To our surprise, we saw Sehun hugging a girl by the sidewalk.
“OMO! Our Sehun is a man now! Our maknae already got himself a girlfriend.” Luhan said excitedly.
I just smiled at him. Well, our maknae has finally grown up, hugging his girl in public.
We were about to leave when we saw how the girl slowly parted from Sehun’s hold. I was pretty shocked to see who she was, it was My Princess, the girl I met a week ago. I didn’t know she and Sehun were dating. I’m such a fool for calling her Princess back then.
“Waaah~ She’s pretty. They look good together. Sehun’s so lucky.” Luhan said while looking at them.
I felt like I was being stabbed right at my chest while hearing Luhan’s words. I didn’t have any idea that she was going out with Sehun. Well, that’s probably just my luck. My first love just so happens to be my little brother’s girlfriend. What a life.
We turned our backs when we saw them smiling together.
You better move-on now, Xiumin. She’s Sehun’s girl. You have to let her go.
As we walked back, I received a text message from Sehun.
From: Sehun-ah Maknae
Hyung, really sorry! Can’t make it there today.
See you at school tomorrow instead.
Take care, hyung! ^^
I tapped to reply his message.
To: Sehun-ah Maknae
No worries, Sehun-ah!
See you tomorrow.
Enjoy yourself today. Take care! :))
I sent him the message and just slipped my phone inside my pocket.
We returned with the others and told them Sehun can’t come today, and that he’ll meet us tomorrow at school instead.
We just continued our lil match awhile ago.
I need this right now. I need something to distract me and let these things out of my head. I’ve made my resolve.
I HAVE TO LET GO.
