Today was the day that Rory would get discharged from the hospital and she was grateful.
"Oh thank the heavens! That bed is not comfortable." Rory says as she heads to the bathroom that is attached to the room to change her clothes.
"Don't worry Ace. There is a very comfortable bed at my dorm you can sleep in tonight. Or, you can sleep in your own comfortable bed in your own dorm." Logan says as he stands by the closed door speaking to Rory.
"Ah, well then... there are two places to sleep and I think I'll go with the safe option.... My dorm." Rory says as she opens the door to reveal her in skinny blue jeans and a black, loose, v-neck blouse.
"Hmm... you sure you don't want to stay at my place?" Logan asks as he scans her up and down.
"Yes, I'm sure. You're friends pop in and out of your place. Even though I have Paris, she is mainly in her own world locked in her room all night long." Rory says as she puts on black ballet flats.
"Is there something your implying?"
"What do you mean?" Rory asked innocently.
Logan gives her a look, his eyes spark with mischief.
"Logan! No! I was not implying that." Rory gasped.
Logan laughed.
Rory playfully glared.
"Okay, come on let's go."
"Yeah, and you better buy me a giant coffee." Rory said as she exited her hospital room.
Logan laughed as he followed her out.

Logan and Rory stop by to get coffee at the Yale's campus coffee cart.
"I'm so glad to be out of there."
"Me too." Logan says pulling Rory to his side firmly and planting a kiss on her cheek.
Rory smiled.
As they walk to her dorm they are stopped by Steph and Rosemary.
"Rory! I'm so glad you're okay! We need to go to the spa or to lunch this weekend and catch up." Rose said.
"I would love too but I'm spending this weekend catching up on my school work. I'm like a week and a half behind."
"Oh okay. Call us when you're free. Oh and Logan its good to see you too. Bye!" Rose said and the girls walk off.
"Why do I feel like I was invisible during that whole entire conversation?" Logan asked.
Rory shrugged.

Mitchum was in his study with Elias.
"How soon can we get this divorce over with dad?" Mitchum asked.
"Hm. I'd say in 3 weeks maybe? I'll ask Straub to help out. Maybe even McCrea can help he has the experience."
"I guess... you know my mind still can't wrapped around the fact that Logan has a girlfriend. And a powerful one in society at that."
"Yes, he does seem to find good taste when he wants to. I guess it was finally time for him to grow up. It's a good thing Rory has shown up when she did." Elias says.
"Indeed. If she has the power to get him away from being a player to being a boyfriend that fast, I think he'll be ready to take over sooner than I thought."
"Plus, since she's changing paths... we have a lawyer in the family that is very intelligent."
"True. I just still can't believe it. My son, has a girlfriend. After so many years of drinking and partying and being such an idiot."
Elias tries not to laugh, but can't help it. And neither can Mitchum.
"Let's just hope that their relationship will last long enough that they will get married and hopefully stay married and Logan stays faithful." Mitchum says taking his glass of scotch.
"I'll drink to that." Elias said.

"I don't know what to do! Mitchum's going to divorce me and then I'm getting blacklisted by the Hayden family and Gilmore family and their granddaughter that is dating my son! Philip what am I going to do!" Shira wailed at the spa as Philip, her masseur, massages her shoulders.
"Deep breathes Mademoiselle Shira. Inhale, exhale." Philip says soothingly.
Shira does as told and goes into a sleepy trance.

Rory has been studying and doing homework for hours on end while drinking coffee cup after coffee cup.
Logan was answering work emails from his dad, and occasionally looking over to see Rory either throwing a pencil, a pen or a highlighter when she got frustrated at something.
Rory was typing at a very fast speed on her laptop computer when Logan went over to her. She has covered their entire bed in papers, books, sticky notes and four empty coffee mugs.
Logan was about to move something so he could sit down when she spoke.
"Don't even think about it." Rory didn't even look up from the screen.
Logan sighed, "Ace, you need a break."
"I've had eight breaks throughout the span of two hours."
"Yes, but only 5 minutes breaks to get coffee."
"And eight times five is forty. I had a forty minutes break from this and I really need to complete all of this." Rory says turning a page in a few books.
Logan stood there for a few minutes.
"You know you are very distracting when you just stand there." Rory says finally looking up at him.
A smirk slowly grew across Logan's face.
"What?"
Logan didn't even answer before a few voices rang in the room.
