"Mother! Mate! Let us in! Why in bloody hell must you keep your door locked when there is barely anybody in this area!?" Finn's voice rang through the door of Rory's dorm room.
Rory looked up at Logan then at the door.
"I'll get it." Logan said and went to the door, Rory smiled at him.
Logan opened the door and Finn, Colin, Steph and Rose piled into the room.
Paris was out with Doyle thankfully or else this wouldn't be a pleasant visit.
"Finn would you shut up! People can hear you from a mile away!" Rose scolded.
"Sorry, darling." Finn said to Rose then turned to Logan. "Mate, how about a drink?"
"Sorry, Finn, me and Rory are working on all of our school work that we've missed." Logan replied.
"Wait? Did I hear that right? Logan and homework in the same sentence? I must be going crazy!" Colin joked.
"Tell me about it. It took me almost an hour to get him to answer his emails from his dad after I got him to drag out his text books." Rory says entering the common room.
"And there's the lovely lady of the land. Finally got your nose out of the books I see." Logan smirked.
Rory slapped his arm hard, playfully rolling her eyes.
"Ouch." Logan rubbed his arm.
"Be glad it wasn't harder and on your face." Rory glared at him then smiled as she turned to his friends. "So how are you guys doing, it's been a while."
"If by a while, you mean a few hours stuck with them then yes it's been too long." Steph says giving Rory and hug.
"It's so good to see you, you look better." Rose said giving Rory a hug too.
"I feel better thank you. Now I hear you all want to go to the pub?" Rory said turning to Finn.
"Love! Are you saying you'd drop everything and come with me? I'd be honored!" Finn smiles.
Rory laughs, "Oh but of course! I can spare an hour or two."
Logan gaped, "But you said you wouldn't take a break minutes ago."
"Well I was in a concentration mode, but was interrupted but a loud Aussie, and now my concentration needs a boost."
"Oh so you need to be distracted to take a break?" Logan smirked.
Rory shoved him playfully causing him to stumble into Finn as he laughs.
"Let's go to the pub then. I need a scotch." Colin complained.
"Of course you do!" Steph huffed.
Before he could say anything Logan pushed him out the door with Rory and the rest following.
"Okay, we don't need you two fighting then making up in front of us again so let's go now." Logan says. Finn and Rose snicker as they walk behind the group.

At the pub, they sit at their booth and have a round of shots passed along.
"So Huntz are you moving in with RG now because you're spending less and less time at your own dorm." Steph says with a hiccup, "Warning sign." She giggles covering her mouth with her hand that didn't hold her drink.
"And you're spending more and more time at my dorm because Colin lives there and I'd rather not listen to all your bedtime activities." Logan said with a slight slur in his words.
"Fair enough." Steph said sipping her martini.
Rory smiled.
"So how's studying going? Ready to Ace the bar exam." Colin smirks.
"Yes! I just want to be done with it. I've never been this stressed over a test. Wait. Actually I've been worse in high school."
"Ooh high school story!" Finn clapped.
Rory laughed, "Okay, okay. I was so stressed out because I was enrolled at Chilton a month or two in the school year and I was so behind. There was this major test and I studied and studied and mom helped me. We stayed up so late I forgot to set my alarm. We woke up late and as I was driving I was hit by a deer."
"You hit a deer!" Steph exclaimed.
"No, the deer it me!" Rory grinned.
Laughter spread through the group.
"So anyway I was only 30 seconds late, and they wouldn't let take the test! I didn't have coffee so I was really grumpy and angry."
"Oh no. This sounds bad." Rose says smiling.
"A Gilmore Girl with no coffee is a death sentence." Logan chuckles.
Rory hit him in the arm and she continued on, "I started yelling."
"Over a test? Wow Reporter Girl." Colin says in disbelief.
"The test was worth 50% of my grade."
"Ouch." The group cursed.
"Yeah and they said there were no make up tests and so I had a lot of extra credit work to do."
"But what I don't get is how were you Valedictorian?" Steph asked.
"Honestly, no clue. I was for sure set that Paris was going to get it." Rory answered.
"Huh. Maybe they chose you because they knew you'd make a better speech than Paris ever could." Logan said.
Rory twisted her face in consideration.
"That actually makes sense." Rory responded.
Logan takes a glance at his Rolex watch and sees that it's been almost 3 hours.
"Ace we need to get back if you want to fit in more study time today."
"Oh! Yes, definitely. Bye guys we'll see you all tomorrow." Rory said and she and Logan get up to leave and the others chorus their goodbyes, but stay and have more drinks.
