Amanda left.
Of course she left, after the way he treated her.
Now she was out on tour making her dreams come true, while he was stuck in Toronto waiting for the next regionals to roll around.
"Yo, bro," Henry says snapping his fingers in front of Noah's face. "We're all heading down to Java Junction, wanna join?"
Noah looks around at who's left from the regionals team; Amy, LaTroy, Richelle, Piper, Michelle, Henry, and Skylar. Everyone else had moved onto bigger and better things. Like Amanda.
Noah sighs and directs his eyes to his shoes. "No thanks."
Henry nods his head and runs off after the rest of the team.
Why had Amanda's departure caused him so much heartache?

"Hey, it's Noah. Call me when you get this."
Another message sent to her and still no reply.
It's been a month since Amanda left and he has yet to hear from her. She probably moved on...maybe he too should move on.
Standing up from his spot on the bench in Studio A, Noah shoves his phone in his bag, picks up his bag and walks away.
Maybe her not answering was a sign, maybe he should just forget her.

Noah checks his voicemail the next morning for something...anything...
"One new message."
Noah sat up in his bed and his eyes flashing brightly. Maybe it was her.
"Hey Noah, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. Call me back?"
Noah drops his phone onto his bed. She hadn't abandoned him, she had just become too busy for him. But honestly, what was the difference?
They were over...
