Thalia's P.O.V
I remember the day Giselle told me she got into the dance company she had auditioned for only days before.
I knew she'd get the spot, but I didn't expect it to be so soon – I figured we'd have more time together before we would have to say goodbye and part ways, but that wasn't the case.

"I'm so proud of you!" I had told her giving her a hug and a kiss.

Yes I was happy for her, but it felt like we hadn't spent much time together as a couple (we had only gotten together before internationals), so for Giselle to be leaving for god knows how long felt like the end of us; which I had told her.

"It doesn't have to end like this," she tried to persuade me, "I won't be gone for too long, and we can talk every night if that's what it's going to take to save this."

I shook my head at her and told her, "no." Even though it was breaking my heart, I knew it was the right thing to do...at the time. Now I regret putting our relationship on hold for a dance company because we're still on hold, maybe afraid to get back on track; worried it won't be the same as what it used to be.

The last day Giselle came into the studio was the last time I saw her. She had come to the A-Troupe party to celebrate our win – though I didn't feel like celebrating.
We didn't talk the whole night, a couple of glances over to each other here-and-there, but we avoided each other like we were avoiding the inevitable; saying goodbye.

So, she left and I stayed...but that didn't last long. I got offered a position on Bartek's team and I took up the opportunity, just like Giselle had with the dance company.
I didn't have anything holding me back in Toronto, so I left and even though I enjoyed being over in Poland and exploring my family history, I still had Giselle and her red hair on my mind.

She never left my mind, even when I wished she would.

When I returned to Canada, I was told that Giselle had visited, but left the day before I arrived. For some time I assumed she'd done it to stay away from me, but when I saw her on a poster for a dance company I knew she'd left for dance, and not because of my arrival. It put me at ease...maybe she did want to see me after all.

I wanted to see her, but when I started up AcroNation, things got busy and I had no time for anything. Even though Eldon was helping me run the dance studio, it wasn't enough to stop me committing to the team 24/7.

A couple of weeks before regionals, Michelle informed me that Giselle would be in town to co-host SNL with Chuck Anderson at regionals; the same regionals I was attending.
A chance to catch up? Maybe. But again I assumed we wouldn't have time to catch up and get our relationship (if you could call it that) back on track.

Yet here I stand, not even 10-feet away from the striking red head. There Giselle was, almost in arms reach, catching up with Michelle.

Now's my chance, I can finally see Giselle again, fix my relationship, and hopefully win regionals.

After Michelle and Giselle hug and Michelle walks away, I start walking towards Giselle; her back to me, she probably hasn't noticed me.
I finally get 2-feet away from her (the closest we've been since she told me about the dance company), and I tap her on the back.

She turns around, and I finally get to see her beautiful face up close after what has felt like years.

"Hi Thalia."

I'm going to save this relationship, no matter what it takes.

"Hi Giselle."

A/U  I hope you enjoyed. Don't forget to like and comment couples you want to see next.
