Daniel's P.O.V
I can't possibly like him! No way, it was just a stupid little duet... but it meant so much more.
Sure he's good looking and all, but he's a hip-hop dancer! There's no way I'd date someone like that.
But we learn things from each other and our personalities and dance styles balance us out.
He probably doesn't even like me back, he probably wants someone like Michelle. A girl.
"Hey!"
Uh oh. I know that voice.
I turn around and see him. West, in all his glory.
"Hi."
Good job Daniel! Squeaking like a little girl.
"I've, uh, been meaning to talk to you," West tells me rubbing the back of his neck, the perfect position to see his muscular biceps.
Snap out of it, Daniel!
"What about," I ask him managing to keep calm and not run away like a little baby.
"Um, well...this might be a little awkward, but would you consider going to see a movie with me some time?"
Calm down, Daniel. Don't go screaming like a little kid in front of your crush.
My what now?!
Shaking away my thoughts, I ask the one question that I have been meaning to ask.
"Like a date?"
His next move surprises me and makes my heart melt.
He takes my hand in his! Internal squeal!
"Exactly like a date."
We stand looking at each other for some time until I finally give him my answer.
"Okay."
So maybe it wasn't a stupid little duet...maybe it was something more.
