DESCRIPTION: Noah and Amanda finally see each other again after they both believe the other has been ignoring them. (Post Season 6)

"Amanda?" Noah asks turning around to see the face of his (ex?) girlfriend.

"Hi Noah," Amanda replies looking down at her shoes.

How did they end up in this predicament?
As soon as Noah heard the voice mail from Amanda, he didn't hesitate in calling her back. The two planned a time and day to meet to - hopefully - clear the air about what happened between the two.

Noah thought Amanda left him in the dust because anything was better than being at The Next Step with him, Amanda - on the other hand - believed Noah didn't truly love her: he didn't try to make her stay, heck - as far as she was concerned - those phone calls he had tried to make were out of pity for leaving her on her own.

"It's been a while," Noah finally speaks, not knowing entirely what to say or where the conversation between the pair would be heading.

"Yep," Amanda replies nodding her head. Why couldn't Noah just explain the phone calls so they could get their little meeting over and done with?
"Can we just get straight to the point?" Amanda exasperatedly says throwing her arms in the air before crossing them.

"What...point?" Noah asks raising his eyebrow, clearly oblivious to the situation - or maybe Amanda was overexaggerating.

"What were those phone calls for?"

"Because...I missed you---" Amanda cut Noah off - quite abruptly.

"Cut the crap! You didn't answer when I called you, so really, what were those phone calls?" Amanda uncrosses her arms and looks Noah dead in the eyes, her own starting to tear up. "Did you want to break up with me?"

Noah stood forward this time, trying to place a comforting arm on Amanda's shoulder to which she shrugs away. "Of course not. I love you."

"I'm sorry," Amanda says stepping further away from Noah, "but I don't think I can do this."

And as Amanda turns around to walk away, Noah stops her one last time. "Are we over?"

"I think so," Amanda replies still facing away, "but, I still love you."
With her words spoken Amanda hurries away. She knows it didn't have to end - especially not like that - but if they were arguing over missed calls then could they really survive bigger turmoil that may have eventually came their way?

---

As Noah lays in bed that night, his phone pings telling him he had received a message.

Upon seeing who the message is from, Noah opens it instantly and reads the text.

Amanda <3: I'm sorry Noah. I love you. xx

He should've known they would last, but sorry would never be enough for him. Not for now at least.
