Hey y'all. Sorry it's been so long since I last updated - I've had a lot on my plate this year. Now that I am on school holidays though, there will be regular updates for this book (and others in the works). I've set a schedule for this book, so hopefully it should be finished early in the new year. 😊
Two weeks. It had been two weeks since the day which Noah had told Jacquie they couldn't be together. He couldn't give her a reason at the time, but now he knew...He was in love, but not with Jacquie - something she had noticed towards the end of their relationship, something she refused to mention to Noah just incase her suspicions were true.
"You like him. Don't you?" Jacquie asked Noah one day, sitting down next to him in Neutral Grounds.
Noah chokes on the juice he was drinking. "Excuse me?"
"You. Like. Henry." She states, "that's why we didn't work out."
Noah seemed very confused by what his ex girlfriend was saying and as thought the idea over, Jacquie answered the question for him. "Come on. It wasn't me you were after, it's always been him."
"Why would you assume that I like him?" Noah asked putting down his juice and turning to face Jacquie properly. "Is it that obvious?"
Jacquie nods thinking back to all the times she had seen the two boys together: they were inseparable, but in a different way to how friends were. "Honestly, I'm surprised Henry hasn't noticed himself."
"I don't know when it happened, it just...did." Noah said looking down at his hands which were placed on the table in front of him.
"Tell him."
"What if he doesn't feel the same way?"
Jacquie considers the fact that this big revelation could potentially ruin the really good friendship that Noah and Henry had built. "Don't worry. Just go for it. Take a leap of faith."
"Okay." Noah nodded. "I'll go and see him now." But Noah continued to sit in his seat.
"Well, go!" Jacquie told her friend and pushed him out of his seat. "I'm pretty sure he's in Studio A."
And with that, Noah bolted from the room - accidentally going in the direction of Studio 1, before quickly turning around and going in the right direction.
Jacquie watched the scene before her shook her head. What a doofus.

Noah rushed in to Studio A, out of breath and saw Henry sitting in the middle of Studio A. "Henry!"
Henry looked over and saw Noah before standing up and walking over to him. "What's up Noah?"
"You're the reason why," Noah breathed out.
"What do you mean?" Henry asked tilting his head to the side confused by what his friend had meant.
Before he got an answer however, Noah leaned in and kissed the confused boy squarely on the lips. It was a risk, but Noah knew it was a risk worth taking. He had broken up with Jacquie over this, after all.
