"We so need to FRAME our jerseys!" Marilynn says as she sits down on the couch.
"Why would we do that?" I ask her.
"Because they got signed by the best players ever!"
"They're just hockey players." I say, not wanting to seem too interested. It would probably break me, knowing it's just something that can never be. So why obsess?
She stared at me, knowing something was up.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just tired. Do you wanna look at our jerseys now?" I ask attempting to change the subject.
Luckily, she agrees.
We slid off our jerseys and sat there, me in my long sleeved tee, and Mary a white tank top. She gawked at her Sid signature. I don't think she really cared about Malkin's since she didn't understand a single word that man was saying.
I looked at Sid's signature. He had nice handwriting. I studied it a bit more and what I saw almost made me choke.
I go silent and my eyes get wide.
Now I know why Evgeni was sending Sid weird looks and why he was so confused.
Sidney had written his phone number under my name.

Marilynn leaned over and her jaw dropped to the floor.
"OH. MY. GOD. SOOOMMEEOONEE SCOOOOOOOOOORED!" She said exploding off the couch and bouncing around.
She starts singing obnoxiously.
"YOU CAME IN LIKE A WREEEEAAAAAKING BAAALL! HE NEVER HIT SO HAAAARD IN LOOOOVE! ALL YOU WANT IS HIM TO BREEEEEAAAK YOUR WAAAAALLS!"
I shook my head at her. You gotta love Marilynn.
"Okay. Calm down." I say, smiling slightly.
"CALM DOWN? MY BEST FRIEND JUST RECEIVED A VERY FINE MALE SPECIMEN'S NUMBER!" She screeched.
I turn back to my jersey and checked it out some more.
Wow. I did just receive a very fine male specimen's number.
I shift my head and stare at Evgeni's. He wrote something in Russian.
