When he took off my blindfold, I was stunned. I wouldn't have ever expected this. Especially since it was our first date....wow.

Just to sum this up...everyone was there.

Everyone.

The whole team.

Kris Letang, Evgeni, Marc Andre Fleury...everyone.

I covered my mouth with my hand as everyone's eyes came upon me.

Kris Letang stepped forward.

"Are you her?" He asked.

"I think so." I say, surprised about the events that are happening right now.

He lightly laughed.

"Do you know how to skate?"

"No, not really."

"Well, now is time." Spoke Evgeni.

"Someone's English got better. You coulda used that yesterday."

He smiled and nodded in agreement while holding out a pair of bulky ice skates.

"I don't even know how to put them on." I say, staring at them, the skates now in my hands.

"I'll help you." Fleury said, stepping forward, his french accent taking over the whole room.

I look over at Sid, and his expression made me smile.

He showed off his perfect white teeth with a breathtaking dazzling smile.

Fleury bent down, taking off my shoes.

"It's weird. Even your feet smell like a god." He said, shocked.

I laugh smally at his comment.

"Smells like flowers."

"Ha..one of the things I go for."

He slides the bulky skate onto my foot. I could barely feel the skate. Just padding.

He tied them tight. I couldn't feel it though.

"Your feet are so small." Fleury says.

"Um..thanks."

He laughs again.

I look over at Sid and notice he was staring at me.

"What?" I ask, smiling with a small laugh.

"Nothing." He says with a smile, and looking down at me.

After Fleury has my skates on, he helps me stand.

He smiles a wide smile, as I hold onto his shoulders struggling not to fall. Sid comes over puts his hand on my waist, steadying me. I shudder at his touch, but refuse to show it, and hide it with a smile.

Fleury walks away, and leaves Sid behind me, holding my waist. I start to wobbily walk around the room. Sid starts to chuckle.

"If this as funny now on carpet, I can't wait to put you on a frozen floor."

"Want me to kick you...with these skates" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

Sid laughed it off, moving his hands further down my thighs.

I ignored it assuming he was trying to stabilize me. I turn to face him throwing my hands on his shoulders. This outta be great fun.

Can't wait for them to see me fall on my ass.

Yay!

Sid still has his hands on my hips as he leads me through a long hallway and to the ice rink.

"Sidney, I don't think I can do this."

"Come on. It'll be fun."

He pulled my hand a little, standing in front of me.

"Sidney, I don't know how to skate."

"I'll teach you."

I sigh as I take both his hands as he pulls me onto the ice.

I immediately cling to him, hoping to not fall and embarrass the shit out of myself.

"You're not going to learn if you keep hanging on me." He said, chuckling at me and my fear.

I look up at him and spoke, "Sorry. I just don't wanna fall."

"It's okay."

He takes my hand and starts to push himself on the ice. We glide while holding hands. I smile and watch his feet. I start to get the hang of it. Push with right, glide with left. Push with left, glide with right. We start going faster and eventually start racing each other. He beats me many times.

"I'll beat you some day."

We hear an applause.

The team.

Everyone was in the stands giving a standing ovation.

"Pretty good for not knowing how to skate." Shouted Flower.

"What can I say? I had a pretty good teacher." I shout back. I glance back at Sid. He smiling. And for a real reason now..so am I.
