'Who is Marcel?' Maddy asked curiously, she assumed he was from the past, she was once again correct of course.
'My brother Niklaus took him in when he was just a young boy, that was years ago, we all presumed he died a while back when our father chased us from New Orleans.' Kol wasn't very fond of Marcel and that much was evident.
'That also means that sooner or later my siblings will end up in this city,' Kol all but spat, he never like Marcel and never would.
'Are we staying? Or are we leaving before they arrive?' Maddy nodded along to his words before inputting another question.
'It'll probably be better if we stay and catch up and then leave so we don't get caught up in any scheming.' Kol admitted, he didn't want to expose her to his family as death usually lingered around them.
'Whatever you want my love, you and me forever,' Maddy claimed as they kissed. She was happy, the happiest she had been in a long time.
Kol smiled at her feeling the need to keep her safe no matter what, he was confused about the strong pull, but didn't honestly care because she was all he ever needed for the world to ever be okay.
'Let's go for a walk, I don't like being cooped up, and I'm rather famished,' the girl spoke quickly, Kol nodded in agreement as they exited the hotel they compelled themselves.
They began strolling and Maddy quickly jumped onto his back, her childish manners kicking in as she declared that she wanted a piggy back ride. Kol shook his head laughing at her love on his mind.
And he loved this girl.
(Also it's so hot outside, I'm currently dying)
