It had only been a few days since the incident, the trio had moved everyday that had passed. Something was up and they had no clue as to what yet.
For the past 3 days they had been attacked once each day, more new vampires each time.
Maddy had had enough of the attacks and wanted it to be over. All she wanted was to protect little Hope from the monstrosities called vampires. Kol didn't enjoy being attacked either since it dampened Maddy's mood so much.
The attacks became more planned as the days continued. Which confused the duo as they held Hope dearly, almost afraid at this rate they wouldn't be able to keep her safe.
Maddy and Kol laid Hope to sleep and Maddy made her way to Kol and her bed. Kol went into the kitchen deciding he needed a midnight snack.
Kol tore into a blood bag as Maddy tucked herself in waiting for her amazing fiance. She closed her eyes not yet going to sleep as she was waiting for Kol, but shutting her brain off to let her mind wander.
It happened before she could do anything. She was stabbed with wood through the heart, desicating for a few hours before she'd come back.
Kol was not happy, and no one else would be until his love was returned unharmed and the one who took her was dead.
