The now trio had decided a trip to England would suffice and let them get away from the drama both New Orleans and Mystic falls had caused them.
Maddy had sat awestruck at the small newborn in her arms. The precious life form that was created from a not so innocent creature.
Kol loved Maddy dearly, even loved the way she tenetivly cared for the baby girl that wasn't even really hers.
He had a soft spot for Maddy, and now his niece, who may grow up before she even gets the chance to meet her parents.
Not that the scenario was too likely, but Niklaus had many enemies, and more would probably result in his wake of eliminating the threats against his family.
Both Kol and Maddy weren't the most heard of, which made it quite easy for them to blend in as a married couple, who had just had their first child. It was quite believable too.
No danger had followed them to England as far as they were aware. And they hoped it would stay that way forever, because Hope deserved to have the normalest childhood she could have, and Maddy vowed she would make sure that happened.
