Third POV
Y/n, a woman who was a SEAL, was found at home. She used to be a SEAL but she decided staying home and watching Jayden was much more important. Y/n had l/s, H/C hair and beautiful E/C eyes. She loved the silence that enveloped her home and loved animals. She lived on a big plot of land near a small town in Colorado. She could see mountains in the distance if you walk around in the pastures and there were rushing streams, creeks, small waterfalls, and even a river that was on the plot of land Y/n owned. She had no family. She was an orphan and lived on her own. The orphanage she lived in was Hell and one day, she ran away. She was homeless, roaming the streets and eventually the countryside. Y/n grew up on the streets and met F/N, a guy who was a famous actor. He helped Y/n and Y/n eventually became a SEAL. She became a SEAL sniper and left everything behind. Of course, she got deployed, but she always hung around F/N. Eventually, Y/n got enough money to buy a large piece of land in Colorado and left F/N behind in California.
When Y/n went back to Iraq, she met Jayden, a little three year old kid. Jayden was gut-shot when she entered a building and her German Shepherd, Riley, managed to pull him out from debris. She saved Jayden from bleeding out and searched for his parents after she left him with some injured marines. Y/n learned Jayden's parents were killed. No one had any idea of what to do with the kid. They couldn't just leave him there. There was a war going on and a war was no place for a child. An injured marine who was watching Jayden, John Laurens, said he'd take care of Jayden. That was the end of the story until John was killed in battle. Y/n adopted Jayden and brought him back home. It had been a year since Y/n decided to leave the war behind and Jayden was four years old.
Y/n's ex, E/N, was pretty interested in Y/n again, especially Jayden. Y/n tried her best to get rid of E/N but it really didn't work. So, Y/n stayed home as much as possible.
It was the middle of July and it was raining hard. Lightning streaked across the sky and a low growl of thunder rumbled the huge Victorian house that Y/n lived in. Jayden was currently asleep upstairs and it's 2:57 a.m. Y/n was busy working on her computer, typing away very quickly. She was a private detective known as 'Bloodhound' around the area and she was trying to figure out who decided to shoot a kid in Denver. Y/n hated these cases. They were very confusing and mixed. Thunder rumbled once more and Y/n closed her laptop.
Y/n's POV
I sighed when I closed my laptop. I rubbed my eyes and slid my laptop under the sofa. I stood up and began to head towards the kitchen to eat something but I stopped when I heard a knock at the front door. Confused, I cautiously walked over to the door. I waited for a few moments, wondering if it was just my imagination but the sound of someone rapping their knuckles against the door told me otherwise. I muttered," What the Hell is someone doing at this hour?"
I opened the door and was greeted by a tall figure. I couldn't see a damn thing in the dark but I knew it was a man by their deep voice and height. I asked," Hello?" The man asked," Sorry if I'm bothering you- But can you let me stay here for a bit? I can't get anywhere in my car." I said skeptically," Sure..." I let them in and closed the door. Immediately, I flicked on the lights. I looked at the man and saw that he had a dark complexion and chocolate brown eyes. He was pretty muscular and well-sculpted. I asked," What's your name?" I decided he was just someone lost in the storm. The man answered," Hercules." I smiled at the name and introduced," I'm Y/n."
