Diana's POV
I smirked as Ava tried so hard to compete with Delilah , Lilah for short. Ava tried not to hesitate with my demands and keep up with the mindless and pointless tasks I gave her. It's been a hour in and she was already heated. Lilah however has always been jealous of anybody important in my life. She was my first sub after Lucas but she was married. She is married. If she wished to live the double life that was fine. She was making multiple minor mistakes whether she had missed me or was in haste to prove she was better than Ava. Not sure, It was very entertaining to notice the glares between the two.
Lilah came back with my ice coffee , placing it on my left like she's been trained. As I picked it up and took a sip Ava snapped. "What the fu-.. Diana who is she?!" I looked up at Ava and motioned her to wait a moment. I popped the lid off the coffee cup.
"Lilah, how many creams and sugars are in here?" I asked. Her eyes grew wide. "Uhm... 2 sugars 1 cream.." she mumbled. "I see ... but how do I like it?" She fumbled with her fingers and I raised my eyebrow, thoroughly annoyed.
I removed my blazer and passed it to Ava. She quickly placed it on the back of my chair. Maybe my voice warned her to drop whatever attitude she was about to have. "Mistress , permission to do it over?" Lilah asked as I stood.
"That was a given. I was really trying to have a relaxed day. This is my best suit," I said adjusting my pants and then remembered the amount of work I have to get done. "I have an idea! The both of you go home. Show up for work tomorrow and the one who messes up first can have an hour session with my pet spider hm?"
They both stood in silence as they recalled their session with the spider. "Now before you pack your stuff Lilah bring me a black coffee, 5 sugars. Ava will accompany you," I said and Ava rolled her eyes.
"Ava you still have me to deal with at home," I reminded her and she lowered her eyes in submission and quickly followed Lilah out the door. A little after Lilah and Ava returned with my coffee correctly, Rick entered my office.
"You're late," I said not bothering to look up from the computer. I signed some documents and put them to the right for Lilah to distribute properly to the respective branches.
After viewing 10 different commercials I chose 3. I was very picky but I know best don't I? "Now my big idea. Everybody agrees with this idea they think it's great for everybody involved!" he bragged excitedly.
"So are you implying I'm the last to know?" He stuttered on his words before I finally dismissed it. "I think you and Ava should do a commercial together for the A5. There's so many different scenarios I thought of. You two racing, you picking her up in the rain. Hot car wash stuff ... think about it at least Diana. And. The super bowl is in 3 months. You already chose Audi to hold your commercial slot," he pushed.
"I'd have to speak about it with my co-owner of my shares in the company along with the board," I answered and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "I'm sorry. Co-Owner? I have another boss?" he chuckled. I smiled lightly and nodded, "Ava Greene."
After many hours at the office I went to Feu Bleu. Twain pulled me to the side. "What?!" I snapped. I hated being bothered in a suit. "It's about ya girl uhm... fuck what was her name... Jess.. Janine. No...-" I cut him off irritated, "You have one g-d damn job," I reminded him.
"Jennifer! Yeah she called crying and shit saying there's blood everywhere," he finally spilled out. My heart jumped a beat as he pulled me into the Escalade. It was a major blur as he quickly drove to Ava and Jennifer's apartment.
Ava's car was parked outside and my heart sank. The police refused to let me through. Ava wouldn't answer her phone , neither Jennifer and I was trying hard not to lose my shit. Ava's mother soon arrived and hugged me. "Do you know anything?" she asked.
"No they won't say anything to anyone," I sighed.
