Moment 1
C: Oh God
J: Oh Lord
C: Look at what she's done
J: She's run off with that pretentious oaf
C: And after marrying her off to such a good man
He could've protected her
J: He should've protected her
Now she's with this big buffoon
C: Oh but he has a big voice
How attractive
J: How revolting
C: Oh lord I've done all I can
J: Now she's in your hands
C: Maybe he'll be better
J: Or worse,
C/J: we can't assume

Moment 2
C: Lord did this man just strike my baby?!*
J: You call the ocean weak and a riptide is bound to pull you under
C: He kept her hidden like a porcelain dove and pampered in a big boat off his horizon. she might have deserved it, but the louder the impact won't give volume back to his voice.
J: She deserved every drop of his forceful realignment; she should have been more grateful for all he's done for her. What kind of nefarious thoughts go through that head of hers.
C: She's got a good head on her shoulder
J: which almost got knocked off like a black man on a white man's bridge
C: she just needs to find the truth
J: what she needs is some appreciation
C/J: Lord! Please save this child.*

Moment 3
C: The big voice is dead
Wouldya look at that
J:What a joke
C: What a Joke?
J: What a joke. Ow My Back
She seems thrilled
C: What will she do now?
J: She'll find another man, like her mother
He wasn't great
C: But his status protected her
Lord please protect her
J: She's not mourning enough
They'll think she wanted his death
C: Oh I hope they don't misunderstand
She needs to go back to Logan
J: But she's way to old now
Nobody will want her
C: Oh lord please give her someone great
J: She's too naive on her own
C: At least she has the house
C/J: It won't last forever

C: My gosh another man
Maybe God has sent him for her
J: I beg to differ look at his Dress
All of the south can see that he's out to play
C: Whether it be girls or checkers I see, that's his way
J: He better not beguile her
C: She won't fall for his charms
J: She's already smiling like a fool
C: Ah but a fool with caution
J: A fool is a fool no matter how you spin it
She'll run off by noon
C: Have faith she's a smart girl
J: Faith won't hide the obvious, you can see it in her eyes
C: Her eyes were watching God
J: Not anymore
C/J: They've been mesmerized by his lies

C: Lord you have put my baby through hell and back
J: She was a trip and a shot away from growing wings
C: Oh how terrifying and lovely that would have been
J: I knew her avocation was no good for her in the first place
C: At least she is back in the big boat off the horizon
J: How lonely it must be without those comforting vines
C: God gave her what she needed
J/C: Maybe Love was what she needed
