KRIZTEL

"This is crazy!" I exclaimed.

"It definitely is! Who would have thought that it would take us three long years to meet again?" Adam said giving me a quick glance.

"Stop this, Adam!" I begged.

Hindi ko lubos maisip kung ano talaga ang nangyayari but I know this wasn't right. Though I don't regret having that mistake with him three years ago, I don't think I would do it again. 

"We're in the middle of the expressway, KC. We can't stop here," he said. He was very cool.

How the hell can he be so cool about this? Hindi ba n'ya iniisip ang asawa n'ya at ang anak n'ya? I stared at him. The brightness of the setting sun was shining around his face. He was damn gorgeous. He still has the same effect  on me. The same effect he had three years ago. This can't be possible. Hindi ako pwedeng humanga uli sa kanya.

"I can't do this," I sighed. My heart wants to do this. But my mind definitely contradicts it. Kung gagawin ko ito uli, hindi na kakayanin ng kunsensya ko. Not now. Not ever. 

Dalawang beses ko palang nakita si Ms. Nikki pero puro kabaitan lang ang pinakita sa akin. How could I do this to her?

I'm not like Nicole! Wala akong balak mag-pakaMaja Salvador! This is really making me crazy!

"Is it Alex?" he asked.

I raised my eyebrow. "Alex? What has Alex got to do with this? He's not even my boyfriend."

Adam's smile widened, "Good! So we don't have a problem then!"

What? What does he mean by that? Anong walang problema, eh may asawa s'yang tao!

"I don't want to be a f*cking mistress!" I finally blurted it out.

He laughed! He laughed so hard! This is really getting frustrating anf irritating.

"KC ... look," he raised his left hand, "do you see a ring?"

I stared at his left hand. I even stared at his right. There was definitely no ring in any of his fingers.

"But ... well ... you can easily remove a ring, you know?" I stuttered. Ano lang naman ang wedding ring? Wala pang isang minuto, pwede na itong alisin sa daliri.

He laughed again, " I miss this. You really have a reason for everything. You sure never want to lose. I miss arguing with you. I miss you a lot." Kumindat pa s'ya.

"This is no joke, Adam. I don't want any connections with you. I don't want to run away with you. Please, let's go back." My voice was already trembling.

"Ouch! That literally hurts! After what happened to us three years ago? Are you just going to throw that?" He was acting like he lost in something. I can't really figure out his expression. May pagka-OA pa ang pagkakasabi n'ya.

"That was a mistake, Adam. A big mistake."

"No, it wasn't! It was the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me. The most intimate thing I've ever experienced. I remember every detail of it. Every freaking detail, KC. It definitely is not a mistake!" He was already very serious. And that made me more nervous.

I blushed.  How could he do this to me? I don't know how to argue back! This time, I don't have anything to fight back. I think I was losing the argument. Because like him, what we did three years ago was also the most beautiful thing I've experienced. It was a mistake that I so vividly remember. But this definitely has to stop.
