Chapter 9

Chapter 9:

Luke's POV:

She is 16? Sixteen!? Six. Teen.

I just kissed a girl 2 years younger than me.

I just stare at the door that joins mine and Calum's room to Ash and Mikey's.

I really like her, but would going out with her be classed as rape?

"When did you turn 16?" Michael manages to ask snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look over at Rosie and her face turns so red. She hugs her knees together and buries her face in her knees.

"It's was her birthday 2 weeks ago," Storm answers for her.

"Oh," is all we say.

You could feel the tension in the room.

Rosie's POV:

You could cut the tension with a knife.

I didn't know what to say but thank god Storm answered for me.

"Well I don't care what age you are, Calum still has to do the dare!" Ashton says dragging Calum to the door.

"Fine!" Calum say stripping off as he stands at the door.

He tells us girls to look away so he can cover himself before he leaves.

Ashton covers his eyes and Luke guide him down the hall and spins him. Michael knocks on a door for him. They all run back to the room and we watch as Calum just stands there butt naked.

An elderly man opens the door. He gives Calum a weird look then starts to shout at him to.

Calum runs back to us laughing. He pulls on his boxers and I notice Storm staring at him. Calum notices too and says, "You like what you see babe?"

"Yeah I do actually, I really do," Storm says.

"Oh and what do you like best?" Calum winks.

"The Pringles in the table beside you, 'babe', now pass me the tub," Storm laughs and we all join in except Calum.

He joins us all on the floor again but looking disappointed.

The tension consumes us all with a horrible awkward silence.

I don't like it at all but I don't want to say anything.

"Someone give me a dare!" Charlie says and I give her a thankful smile because I know that she isn't the biggest fan of dares.

Ashton opens his mouth to say something but I cut off by someone I didn't expect.

"I dare you to give Ashton a lap dance!" Luke laughs.

He had been so quiet I wasn't expecting him to say anything.

"Okay but only if you play 7 minutes in heaven with Rosie!" Charlie challenges.

"Okay but you have to give Ash the lap dance for the whole 7 minutes!" Luke retorts.

"Dare accepted! Ash let's go into the other room Luke and Ro can go into the bathroom." Charlie says getting up and going to the door Ashton following behind like a love struck puppy.

I laugh at the sight and then I remember that I have to go with Luke. He stands up and gives me his hand to help me up.

I follow him into the bathroom and he closes the door behind me, locking it.

He turns to face me with a nervous look on his face.

"Are you seriously 16?"

"Yes... Why, what age are you?" I ask cautiously.

"Uhm, 18," he replied, awkwardly scratching his neck.

It took me a minute to register what he just said, and all i let out was a small "oh".

"...yeah," he answered.

"A dare is a dare," Mikey yelled from outside the door.

"Go away!" Luke yelled in reply.

He opened the door to make sure Mikey was gone before he locked the door again and continued.

"Listen, two years might seem like a lot, but the truth is, I really like you Rosie! If you dont want to do this then thats fine, but at least you know how I feel now....." he trailed off.

Woah, am I actually hearing this?! I quickly pulled my phone from my pocket to discover that nearly three minutes had passed.

I guess this was now or never, I thought as i made my way to Luke, closing the distance between us.

He cupped my cheek with his hand and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him nearer to me.

Our lips met in a gentle collision. "I like you too Luke," I whispered, before returning my lips to his.

I just sort of smiled into the kiss and he smiled back.

He likes me. He likes me. This guy I let feed penguins likes me.
