Chapter 20

Chapter 20:

Rosie's POV:

This is not good. This is not good. THIS IS NOT GOOD!

This looks like Brad and I were on a date. But we weren't. But Luke doesn't know that my subconscious says. But Luke and I aren't together so he can't get angry with me because we were just hanging out as friends.

"Hey Luke," I say shyly.

"Hey," he bluntly says.

The tension was thick in the air between us even though there was only a screen and he wasnt even here, but in a different country.

"Hey, I'm Brad. I work with Ro at the zoo," Brad announces, ignoring the tension, and Luke's glares.

All the guys exchange their hellos with Brad except Luke. He just grunted and walked away mumbling about having to do something with Niall. We heard a door open and close, so I guessed Luke left.

Brad and the rest of 5SOS were getting along good. After a few minutes chatting, the awkwardness was gone. Luke never came back, well on screen that is.

I heard the door open and shut. Niall came and lay on top of Ashton, Michael and Calum and was talking to us before someone, I guessed Luke, cleared their throat and he said he would talk to us again soon.

"Was that...?" Brad asks.

"Yes that was Niall Horan," I answer.

"Woah mega fangirl!" Mikey teases.

"Nah man , I know of them, like who doesn't!"

We were talking for a while longer then Brad checks his phone.

"It's getting late, I better get going. Bye everyone," he says waving.

I walk Brad to the door.

"We should hang out again soon," he smiles.

"Yeah we should... But next time I will pick the movie," I tease.

"Okay no arguing there, night Ro," he says leaning in for a hug.

I hug back say goodnight and close the door as he leaves.

I go back to the room with the girls and the guys on Skype.

"Guys we have to tell you something," Mikey says as soon as I sit down.

"What is it?" Dani questions.

"Well you guys know how we said we would be gone about 3 weeks?" Calum asks.

"Yeah and it's just been 3 weeks now, so are you guys coming back soon?" Storm answers.

"Well, there has been more dates added to the tour and..." Ashton begins.

"And what?" Charlie questions.

"And we will be on your for another 2 weeks."

"Oh," we all chorus.

"Are you guys okay?" Mikey asks.

We stay silent.

"Say something, please," Calum begs.

"Yeah we are okay. It's just that we were expecting you guys back, but we can deal with it for another bit. Can't we girls," I try to smile, but it hurts because I was looking forward to seeing Luke again.

Niall comes back on screen saying he is going back to the 1D lads.

"Bye Niall," we all say as he leaves. I thought Luke might come back on screen but he didn't.

"Night guys I'm going to bed," I tell them.

"But the party is only starting!" Cal says.

"Well I have work tomorrow."

"So do we," Mikey says.

"Yeah but unlike you I have to get up early," I say.

"Okay, goodnight Granny," Ashton says.

"I'm gone before I say anything I will regret, Night everyone," I say.

I walk in my bedroom and make my way over to my dresser. I nearly trip over a bag.

I look in the bag and it's the penguin I bought Luke the day all of us went to the zoo. I completely forgot to give it to him.

I should have given him it at the airport. Damn it!

I get into my pj's and get into bed. I cuddle into the penguin and decide to text Luke.

Rosie: hey Luke I miss you, we didn't even get to talk on Skype. xx

Luke: you were a bit preoccupied I didn't want to disturb you, x

Rosie: Luke what's up? And don't tell me nothing be cuz I know something's wrong, I know u xx

Luke: well if you know something's wrong why don't you tell what it is? If you 'know me' you should know what's wrong!

He didn't send an ' x' he must be mad. Well I'm mad too him acting like a little kid.

Rosie: it has something to do with Brad, doesn't it?

I don't send back 'xx' like I normally do, two can play at this game.

Luke: oh no, it couldn't have anything to do with Brad!

Rosie: are u being sarcastic with me?! that's it I'm going to bed. I can't deal with this rn, goodnight.

I turn my phone off and put it in my top drawer of my bedside locker.

He is acting so different lately, I don't like it. He hasn't been texting as often or calling at all like he used to.

I'm not going to think about it.

I set my alarm clock for work on the morning. I cuddle into the penguin but it reminds me of Luke. And I'm annoyed with him.

I throw the penguin across the room and it hits my door.

My emotions are flying around and I don't like it. My anger reaches an all time high and I burst out crying. I wonder what I did to make Luke hate me so much.

After crying for ages I fell exhausted and I fall into a dreamless sleep.

I was back to school Thursday and Friday, now it's time to get back into school routine again. I'm not sure how updating is going to fit in but I promise I will make time for updating.

And I have wrote this chapter so many times it is killing me. I had it ready like 6 hours ago but something happened and it deleted off phone.

But finally I was thinking about making a snapchat for this but I'm not sure. comment if you think I should :).
