Chapter 21

Chapter 21:

Luke's POV:

Mikey, Ash, Cal and I were on Skype with those weirdos from Ireland, but Rosie wasn't there.

We had a bit of bad news to tell them. It's one of the reasons I have been a bit distant with Rosie.

I miss her so much. I wonder if she misses me as much I as I miss her?

They guys promised we wouldn't tell them the news until Rosie got back. I don't like this feeling if anticipation.

We were talking to the girls for about half an hour, just catching up, then I heard the door open and my heart leapt.

"Yeah we made it with 1 minute to spare!" I hear Rosie say.

"Charlie, you can suck my left one," she says, sounding closer this time and I smiled.

"Hey guys, we made it back with time to spare, what you guys doing...." She says walking into the room, and my heart sinks. She is with another guy.

"Hey Ro," Mikey says.

She waves at the screen.

"Hey Luke," Rosie says shyly.

"Hey," I reply shortly.

You could cut the tension with a knife. It was kind of awkward. But then that douche introduces himself.

"Hey, I'm Brad. I work with Ro at the zoo," He announces, and I just glare at him. He called her Ro not Rosie, my stomach drops even more knowing he is close enough to her to call her Ro.

Am I replaced that easily? I can actually feel my heart crack.

I quickly feel my sadness turn to anger.

All the guys say hello to that douche and I just grunt to acknowledge him.

My anger is going to get the best of me so I know I'm just going to have to leave. I mumble that I have to do something with Niall to the guys before I get up and leave the hotel room without looking back at Rosie.

I had to get out of there before I say something I will regret. I take my phone out of my pocket and text Niall I'm coming to his hotel room.

I knock on his room door and walk in before he can answer.

"Hey man what's up?" Niall asks, looking up from his phone.

"How do you know something's up?" I snap.

"Well the look on your face and you just fucking snapped at me for asking 'what's up'. So my guess is girl trouble," he says with a wink and a smug smile plastered in his face.

When I don't smile back his face softens and he pats the bed beside him, indicating for me to sit down.

"Tell me what happened," he smiles.

I tell him everything, and I mean everything. From meeting Rosie at the zoo and her letting me feed the penguins to the games in the hotel room. I tell him about the airport and how much I miss her. Then I finally tell him about the Skype call and that guy she came home with. I tell him how I don't know what I am feeling, like my emotions are all mixed up and he nods.

After maybe 20 minutes of telling Niall everything I finished and he says;

"Let's go write a song. It will help, I promise."

We go back to mine and the guys hotel room. Niall says he wants to say hello to his "fellow Irish people" because he misses the way Irish people talk or what ever.

"I'll grab Michael's guitar and you can use mine," I tel him.

"Okay I'll be in to you in a sec," he says and lays on top of the other guys as I go get the guitars.

Niall is still talking to the girls so I go into the room and clear my throat. He says goodbye to them and comes in my room.

We spend a couple of hours writing lyrics and coming up with a melody.

We were playing our guitars but we are interrupted by a text on my phone.

Niall checks his phone for the time as I check mine to see who text me.

"Mate it's getting late I'm heading to bed, see ya tomorrow," Niall says.

"Bye, and thanks," I say to him as he leaves the room.

I unlock my phone and I have a message from Rosie. I swear I am wearing a big dopey grin on my face now but then I think about her with the other guy and I start to feel angry again.

Rosie: hey Luke I miss you, we didn't even get to talk on Skype. xx

Luke: you were a bit preoccupied I didn't want to disturb you, x

Rosie: Luke what's up? And don't tell me nothing be cuz I know something's wrong, I know u xx

Luke: well if you know something's wrong why don't you tell what it is? If you 'know me' you should know what's wrong!

I don't send any x's by accident because I'm angry but I regret not sending them.

Rosie: it has something to do with Brad, doesn't it?

She doesn't send back 'xx' like Se normally does, she must be seriously mad at me.

Luke: oh no, it couldn't have anything to do with Brad!

Rosie: are u being sarcastic with me?! that's it I'm going to bed. I can't deal with this rn, goodnight.

I got so annoyed I didn't reply to her. I got into bed and put my headphones on. I put my songs on shuffle instead of texting back incase I say something stupid that I will regret.

A random song is playing but I take no notice to it until I hear;

"Maybe I should run away,

Try to find a summer day

Love is butterflies and stomach aches

Love is looking out a windowpane

Tears dripping looking like you in the rain

For someone you don't even know or

For somebody you may never see again"

After listening as far as this I stopped listening, it wasn't helping me feel any better, it was making me sad and angry, especially the line 'somebody you may never see again'.

I hit the pillows trying to take my anger out. It only helps a small bit but it's better than nothing. I close my eyes and try to sleep bit it already feels like it's going to be one of those long nights.

This is the first full chapter in Luke's POV! What do you guys think? Should I do that more often or should I just write small parts and change POV in the chapter?

The song is 'Swing Life Away' by Machine Gun Kelly ft Kellin Quinn. I found this song during the summer and have been dying to put it in somewhere!

I went to see some other Aussies in Tuesday, up in Dublin! I seen the Janoskians again and they were amazing! I love them so much! Why do Australians have to be so loveable and good looking?! (I'm not complaining though ha)

Think that's everything... Oh yeah I have chosen Sunday as my day to update because of school. So I'll be writing from Friday when I get home and spending the weekend working on the chapters to post them on Sundays :)
