Chapter 18

Chapter 18:

Rosie's POV:

I got home to the apartment and the girls were on the couch, as usual. It's Friday, so they had pizza boxes on the coffee table and watching Friends reruns. Friday is our pizza day

"You guys better have left me some pizza, because if you didn't-" I was cut off by Dani.

"You will kick us in the throat! Yeah, yeah, we heard it before."

"She always asks us if we leave her pizza!" Storm says.

"Well we would hardly get pizza for us and not save any for you," Charlie explains.

"Good, I like pizza," I smile.

"We know you do," they say.

My phone buzzes in my pocket while I go to my bedroom to get into my pyjamas. I throw it on my bed and I ignore it so I can change first.

I grab my phone off the bed when I'm finished changing and make my way back to the girls to get some pizza.

I take a slice and sit on the chair while I check my phone. I have one new message.

Brad: "Hey Rosie how about we go to the cinema tomorrow? :) Then food after? :)"

Rosie: "Yeah sounds good :) what time?? :)"

Brad: "About 6? I'll pick you up at ur place, just text me ur address tomorrow :)"

Rosie: "okay cool :) cya then :)"

"Why haven't you eaten that slice if pizza in your hands young lady?" Charlie says.

I open my mouth to answer but I am cut off, again.

"She is texting someone!" Storm says.

"A boy perhaps?" Dani winks and I can't help but blush.

"I knew it was a guy!" Dani says.

"Who is this guy?" Storm asks.

"Is he the new guy from the zoo?" Charlie questions.

"Yes it's Brad, the guy from the zoo. We are just hanging out tomorrow," I explain.

"On a date?" Dani wiggles her eyebrows.

"No just as friends! Now stop interrogating me and let me eat my god damn pizza!" I snap because I see they want to ask more questions.

It was quiet for the rest of the night. No questions. I felt kind of bad but I just didn't like all the questions being thrown at me.

We were watching something on TV and a guy had a lip ring. It makes me miss the feel of the cool metal on me when Luke kissed me.

I thought for a second, Luke and I haven't text all day. He says he would text first because time zones, but I miss him, so I send him a text.

Rosie: "Hey Luke :) how's touring? I miss you and the guys <3 the girls are boring without all of you :P text me when you can... :* xx"

I press send and go back to watching the TV. I keep checking my phone but no reply. I am still waiting hours later as we watch stupid TV shows into the early hours of the morning.

He could be doing a show, or in a meeting, or he could be sleeping. But what if something is wrong... I don't even know.

"Are you okay?" Charlie asks sitting beside me.

"Yeah I'm fine," I lie.

"No you are not, you are crying, now tell me what's up."

"Has Ashton sent you a message today?"

"Yeah, well he rang, but only for a minute, he was just calling to say him and the guys made it Italy okay and that he couldn't talk long because they had a lot to do. Calum and Mikey didn't ring Storm and Dani either but they all said hi. They are probably asleep to exhausted to even dream right now."

"You're probably right," I smile and hug her.

"I know I am. Now go to bed and stop worrying, you have to be ready for when you are hanging out with Brad tomorrow," she says pulling away from the hug.

"Should we leave these two on the couch? Or can we wake them up?"

"I think they wouldn't sleep well here so we have to wake them up," she says with an evil glint in her eyes, which is probably mirrored in my own.

I grabbed my phone and put it so my number was blocked. I started to dial Dani's number because her phone is always on loud.

"Let's ring from your room, I don't wanna be around them when they wake up," Charlie laughs and so do I.

We go to my room and close the door over but not fully.

I pressed the call button on my phone and waited.

Suddenly the Doctor Who theme tune started blaring through the house I heard the girls screaming at the sudden loud noise, and a thud in which I'm guessing Storm fell off the couch. She can be so uncoordinated.

Charlie and I go check what happened and I was right Storm was on the floor. Dani was still on the couch, she was holding a hand to her chest. Both of them looked startled. I kind of felt bad but it was really funny.

"What happened?"

"Are you guys okay?" I ask trying to hold back my laughter along with Charlie.

"No we are not okay! We had a heart attack!" Storm over exaggerates.

"My heart is still beating so fast, who the fuck would call this late?" Dani asks.

"Wait....." Dani says and looks at me and Charlie holding back our laughter.

"It was you two?!" she screams.

"What the hell guys?!" Storm shouts.

"And on that note I think we are going to bed, night guys," I say, dragging Charlie away from the sitting room too.

"Night Charlie, don't forget to lock your door," I warn her.

"Night, I won't forget, and turn your phone in silent incase they try to get their own back," she says closing her door and I do too. I make sure to lock my door.

I go over to my drawers and grab a random tshirt and shorts. I put the shorts on and I take a look at the tshirt, it's the one Luke gave to me.

I pull it on and I smile, it makes me feel better that I have a little piece if Luke here with me.

I get into bed and smile as I fall asleep, hoping to dream of Luke.
