We run home hand in hand. Something tells me this isn't going to be a very normal relationship. When the house comes into view, I see mom through one of the glass walls, I stop at the river out the back almost completely forgetting about it,

"On the count of three, one," Jake says "Two," He looks at me now "Three!" I spring forward first, almost pulling Jake behind me, but his jump wasn't very powerful, pulling both of us into the river

"What was that for!" I turn and yell at him in between laughs.

"What?" He says and puts a very bad and fake shocked look on his face. I splash my hands around in the water making a wave that hits him. "Oh no you didn't!" He tackles me and pulls me under water, me being a vampire I have clearer vision under water so I know where he is. He has his eyes open too, I swim away from him, only for him to catch up in a second.

"I honestly don't know what I did wrong? Oh you think I deliberately dragged you into the water? Well you're... RIGHT!" he says as he tackles me again. We have moved so far downstream that the house is now out of sight. Oh well it's not like we can't find out way back.

"Stop tackling me!" I shout at him playfully, sending some more water into his face.

"Well then, stop splashing me" he says in his best 'me' voice.

"Alright if you're going to intimidate me, you're going to have to practise," I shoot him a look and swim back upstream which is slightly more difficult because the currents going against me and Jake is grabbing my foot. I turn around and he tackles me but instead of going under water he just looks at me, and then I kiss him. I couldn't imagine life gets any better than this. In his arms, swimming and having fun in a river, no one watching and kissing this perfect boy. I pull away and just stare into his eyes. I can now sort of see the house through some trees.

"C'mon, lets get going, it's getting dark and I imagine it would be cold for you," He says while helping me out of the water.

"Aww but I don't wanna go!" He doesn't even respond, just laughs and scoops me up into his arms, in a princess hold.

"Well we are going, I don't want to send a bad impression, to your parents!" He says as he winks. I start to notice that I'm shivering, so I curl up to his chest, which is already dry.

"You are cold aren't you?" he says noticing me shiver.

"A little bit, but we'll be home soon so don't worry," He stops and looks down at me then starts to run.

"Don't want you catching a cold, better get you home so you can have a nice hot shower, because if I'm slightly cold then you will be too," He says looking straight ahead.

"No rush, I like it just being the two of us," I say and I know I'm blushing, "It's nice," I chuckle for no reason.

"Don't ditch your family for me, they love you more than anything," he is looking at me now, "But so do I so... I don't know! I would love to have you all to myself, but I can't ask that from you, I know how important your family is-"

"Shut up Jake," I say and press my lips into his, with more force this time. He stops and puts me down but I don't put my feet on the ground, I wrap them around his waist. His hands are now supporting my weight and my hands are playing with his hair.

My hands lock into his dark spiky hair. We're like that for a while I guess because when one of us breaks away, I'm not really sure who, but one does, I notice it is completely dark. He lets me go and I put my feet firmly on the ground.

"Come on, your parents are probably worried about you, we've been out here for a while" he says as he takes my hand as he runs off, leaving me no choice but to follow.
