Oh no - Chapter 5

When we got home, it was as I was expecting, no-one noticed me walk in, until I stepped on the carpet with wet feet, oohh no shouldn't of done that!

"Watch where you are stepping Renesmee!!!!" Esme's shrill voice coming from beside me.

"Renesmee! Why would you step on the carpet if you had wet feet?" I heard my mom say.

"Nice to see you all too!" I reply to them, hiding my smile.

"It's okay, I'll carry her up to her room," Jake says as he winks at me.

As he scoops me up, I hear Rose mutter "How can you love a dog? I don't get it!"

Aunt Rose just called my Jake a dog! I huff to myself.

"Aunt Rose don't be mean! I could say the same about Uncle Em if I wanted to!" Jacob obviously liked this comment because he started laughing. But Rose saw the funny side of it and laughed too. Jake picked me up and carried me upstairs and threw me on my bed.

"What are you doing! I'm all wet! The whole point of you carrying me up here was so I didn't touch anything! And now my bed is all soaked!" I huff at him and cross my arms across my chest. After my little rampage and after Jake had finished laughing, I jumped into the bathroom.

"Jake just stay in my room, lie on the bed or something to dry it," I was only answered by laughter. As soon as I got in the shower, my whole body thawed out. I had a quick shower knowing my Jake was out there waiting for me. I dried myself and got dressed as quick as I could, apart from my top which I forgot in my room.

"Are you nearly done Ness?" I could hear Jake yell through the walls.

"Uh... Yeah almost, I, uh, forgot to bring in a top though, can you get me one please? And don't come in here just throw it in!" I screamed out.

"Yeah um where are they?" He asked, oops forgot he didn't know where anything was.

"Um don't worry, just close your eyes and I'll get a towel." I grabbed my towel

"I'll just leave... What about that?" I can't believe I didn't think of that!

"That would be good! Thanks. I'll come and get you when I'm done!" I heard the door close, and ran out to get my top. I covered my chest anyhow, knowing he would of just tricked me and closed the door but standing there, and I know him to well, because there he was, standing there staring at me.

"JAKE!!! Honestly!" He turned around, but I don't know why I was like this! I wasn't naked, I had sweat pants and a bra on, but I don't know, it felt wrong him being there, with me like this. I quickly grabbed the first top I saw.

"Jake why didn't you go!" I couldn't say it without laughing which wasn't good because I was actually serious! He started laughing and walking to me.

"Oh go away! I'm trying to be mad at you but you're making it really difficult!" I say as he closes the gap between us and pulls me in to a kiss, I kiss him back but not really as into it as I have been today.

I break away and start talking "I'm going downstairs, it's still my birthday and I've been ignoring everyone except you, come with me if you like," I said grabbing his hand and pulling him closer to me to give him a kiss just under his jawline and pull him down to the living room.

When we got down to the living room, everyone was sitting around the TV,

"Hi guys!" everyone turned around and their faces shone when they saw me.

"I thought you would of stayed up there in your room, with your new boyfriend," Uncle Em says while he winks.

"No actually, I thought you would want me down here considering it's my birthday," I looked over to my mom, who was smiling at me proudly.

"Thank you darling, we do want you down here with us," she says while grabbing my dad's hand.

"So what are we watching?" Uncle Emmett flicked up the guide and it was some news show.

"Alright well I'm going to go home now, because I feel like I'm crashing the party, so see you guys later and I will definitely see you later missy," he says while planting a kiss on my cheek.

I kiss him on the cheek and give him a hug and say good bye, watching as he walks out the door

"Bye!" I call out after him, he turns around and waves and then disappears into the woods.

"I wish he'd keep his thoughts to himself," My dad mutters to my mom.

"He doesn't mean to! Just stay out of his head!" she gives him a look and he answers with a kiss. Ew I wish they would keeps it to themselves in their cottage. I go home sometimes but my vampire family seem to forget I need to sleep, so I just stay here, get tired and go to bed in Alice's room which has turned into my room.

"Oh no," My dad jumps up suddenly,

"What is it?" Everyone is asking all at once.

"It's," He turns to me, "It's Jacob, He's been hurt," And with that, my heart felt like it sank to the floor and I got punched in the stomach by a newborn.
