Are You Kidding Me? - Chapter 14

"Alice, as much fun as this has been, I wanna go home," I say in an irritating voice.

"Ok, well I'll take her home and come back for you guys," My mom suggested. I mouth her a thank you, and then we headed for the door.

"Bella!" Alice called and gave her what looked like a warning look.

"Oh right, um what about, we go into your choice of shops?" She smiles and I sigh and just walk off into Forever 21, even though we had already been in there, I didn't get a proper look.

"Nessie, I'm sorry, you can't go home now though,"

I roll my eyes, more secrets being kept from me. I keep walking through the shops. Mom's phone beeps and she checks it quickly and then snaps it away.

"Actually we can go home if you want, it was from Jake, he says he is on his way, something about your phone is flat," I pull out my phone and it is flat,

"Oh okay, so we can go home?" I ask. Mom nods her head.

"Alice, Sunny, Rose," She flicks her head and her hand as a gesture to come on.

We drive home at human speed. Mom tries to keep up small talk, but I don't want to talk.

"You'll like what is at home," I snap my head up to her,

"What's at home?"

She smiles and shakes her head, "Can't say, you'll just have to see," Her phone beeps again and then she steps on the pedal.

Emmett greats me out the front with a huge grin and a hot pink, piece of fabric in his hand.

"Hey Nessie," He says,

"That colour suits you Uncle Em," I say pointing to the pink rag. He scowls at me and chucks it to me.

"Am I supposed to put this on." As soon as I say this, Jake appears from behind the front door,

"JAKE!" I run towards him and give him a huge hug,

"Hey Ness," We kiss for a second and then he ties my blindfold on. I don't know who else leads me but Jake and someone in my family lead me through the house and out the back door.

"What can possibly be out here," I assume Jake phases because I feel fur against my arm and then someone lifts me up onto it. I let a laugh slip through my lips. He takes off and we're running full speed ahead, somewhere. I wish I could see where we are going, all I know, is we are across the other side of the river. Jake starts to slow down. Someone pulls me off him, and then he obviously phases back, because a warm hand grabs mine.

"Jake where are we? Are we here yet?" I ask not knowing where to look because I can't see!

"Not quite," He picks me up in a princess hold, and I laugh again,

"What's so funny!" Jake asks,

"Nothing, it's more of frustrated laughter," I lean my head onto his chest and we walk for a while.

"Alright, I'll put you down, then on three you can take your blindfold off," I nod and then he starts to count,

"One, Two.... Three," I rip the blindfold off and my eyes take a while to adjust, Oh my gosh, It's amazing. A cute little cottage, in the middle of the woods somewhere near our house, I've never seen this part of the woods before, I don't think anyhow. It was so beautiful and perfect. It had a beautiful wood carving above the door of a wolf howling. It couldn't be bigger than two or three bedrooms. Perfect size for us, assuming it was for Jake and I.

"Is this..." I can't finish it but Jake does,

"ours," I look at him astonished but he nods.

Tears spring to my eyes and I fling my arms around his neck, sobbing into his chest.

"Ness, what's wrong?" I shake my head and pull away,

"Nothing, happy tears, happy tears," He laughs and hugs me tightly,

"I love you Renesmee," I nod my head and my family laughs,

"I meant I love you too," Now I laugh.

"Come on, let's go have a look," My family run off and I hold his hand. He picks me up,

"Need to be traditional," I giggle. We walk through the threshold and he puts me down. I walk through the house dragging him behind me with his hand. My other hand goes to my mouth in shock. It's beautiful, the whole house, is perfect. I find what I assume is the bedroom. It has a massive king-size bed, with a white bed head.

"Are you kidding me?" He shakes his head, "Jake, it's beautiful," He puts his arm around my shoulders and kisses the top of my head.

"Glad you like it," I look at the wardrobe,

"Has that got stuff in it?" He nods. I go over to the massive closet and open it, it has all my clothes and everything I own in it.

"Jake, I don't know what to say," He looks at me,

"But your happy, right?"

I can't think of any words to say, I'm so happy, It's amazing, I couldn't imagine anyone doing this for me so I just nod,

"When did you do this?"

"Do what?" I give him a look and he chuckles,

"Your family and the pack started three days ago, the day after the photo day, it was my job to 'distract' you. But I helped decorate today" he flashes a smile and my knees could weaken. "Your family work very fast and the wolves helped as well. But wait this isn't even the best part," He pulls me outside and I give the rest of the house a quick glance.

"Look at the backyard," At first, it just looks like an ordinary, clear backyard, but only Jake and I could recognise it,

"Is this?" He nods. "It's our meadow. With the pond, the rocks and the clearing. "Jake, this is the perfect place," He hugs me from behind and rests his head on my shoulder. "It's absolutely perfect,"

Jake lets go and walks back into the house still holding onto my hand,

"Let's show you the-" I pull him backwards to face me and crush my lips against his. We make our way to the master bedroom and collapse on the bed.

"Thank you," I say between kissing and breaths.

"You're more than welcome," He pulls his shirt off and I don't know how, today would have to be the best day in anyone's life. Didn't start that way, but it sure ended up that way.

"I love you so much Ness,".
