*Sarah's POV*

When I came around again, there was a nurse standing over me with a clipboard. She was checking the machines next to me and writing things down. When she saw my eyes open, she smiled.

"Good afternoon, Sarah. How are you feeling?" She asked, her smile not genuine at all. I already wanted to hit her.

"Fine. I'll be right back." I said, moving the covers to stand up, and she flipped out.

"No! You aren't going anywhere! You are far too injured!" She yelled, and I rolled my eyes, yanking my hand away from hers.

"No, I'm fine. I feel ok and I'm in no pain. Why can't I get up?"

"Because it's not safe! You could mess something up further!" She insisted, and I laughed at that one.

"Seriously? Not safe? Do you even know who I am, or what I've done? I promise you, this is actually the safest thing I've done in months."

I stood up again, and this time the bitch pushed me down. I clenched my teeth in anger as she scolded me.

"I don't care what you've done. It's not okay for you to leave."

I exploded right then, shoving my hand towards her and freezing her on the spot. She turned into a giant ice cube, and I looked at her, amused.

"See? I'm ok. And I've got a soldier to find." I sneered.

Her eyes followed me as I walked out of the room, pulling the scandalous hospital gown closer to me. I walked down the halls a little ways, getting strange looks from the doctors, but I couldn't find Bucky. However, I did spot Steve. He stood at the end of the hall and I ran towards him, my bare feet slapping against the sterile white floor.

"Steve!" I called. He looked over at me and smiled.

"Sarah! I see you're moving again?" He said, and I shrugged.

"Yeah. Doctors didn't like it, but I wanted to do something for once. And I need to see Bucky."

Steve nodded and gestured towards a room across the hall, and when I saw the glint of a metal arm, I knew that my Bucky was in there. I walked straight towards the room without hesitation.

I walked through the door and caught sight of three doctors around him, that all glanced at me disapprovingly when I walked in.

"Ma'am, you can't be in-" the doctor started, and I crossed my arms, glaring at him. I then felt Steve's presence behind me.

"Sir, that's my boyfriend right there, and if you don't let me see him right now, I will go tell the whole group of pissed off superheroes sitting in your lobby. And we don't need a fight right now, do we?" I asked, my jaw clenched tight as I stared them down. They all shook their heads quickly with wide eyes and left the room.

Leaving me and Steve with Bucky.

I ran up to him, casting my glance down at his broken, shirtless form. He had millions of tubes sticking out of him, but he was breathing, and for that I was grateful.

I reached down and took his real hand and his metal one in my hands, feeling his familiar warmth of his skin and the cool of the metal. I smiled slightly, and let go of his metal hand to brush the hair out of his face, before holding it again.

"Bucky?" I whispered, a tear making it's way down my face. I wiped it away hurriedly. "I don't know if you can hear me, but I'm praying for you, ok? We all are. The whole team is sitting in the lobby, waiting for you to wake up. Me and Steve are here with you now." I started, glancing up at Steve, who looked close to tears. I motioned for him to come over, and we both sat on the guest chair together, holding on to Bucky. I huddled close to Steve for friendly comfort. We were both bearing the same cross right now.
