Chapter 15: On my way

When I get home I walk straight through the front door because I don’t care whether they see me or not; I already got to do what I wanted to do.

“Weren’t you just in your room?” Camilla asked as soon as I walked through the door.

“I was but I sort of kind of climbed out the window.” I said.

“WHY?” Camilla got out of her seat.

“Did Little Mix leave?” I asked.

“Yes but why did you climb out of the window?” she asked.

“I went to see Niall.” I walked past her and went into the kitchen.

“What? Why?” she followed me into the kitchen.

“I needed to talk to him about why he didn’t come and visit me in the hospital.” I stated calmly.

“And what did he say?” she asked.

“You have a lot of questions.” I said in between laughs, “He didn’t really give me an answer he just told me to get home safe.”

“And that’s all that happened?” Camilla stepped closer to me.

“Yes.” I lied, “What do you think happened?”

“Nothing, nothing at all.” Camilla said walking away and into her room.

I smiled to myself just thinking about Niall on top of me and kissing me. If only everyday could be as good as today. I walk to my room and close the door when I turn around Drew is sitting on my bed.

I go to run but before I know it he’s right next to me and holding the door closed so I can’t leave. I back away and he locks the door.

“I just want to talk.” He said edging closer to me.

“Get out.” I shout.

“Please just let me explain.” He pleaded.

“Explain what; why you punched me and tried to rape me?” I screamed, “If you ask me you don’t get to explain anything.”

“Lauren I’m so sorry I lost my temper. I just wanted to make you happy. I saw you at the club with Niall and I saw how he made you mad. I just wanted to get you away from there.” He stated getting a little closer.

“Back away or I’ll really scream and Camilla will here you.” I state.

He automatically backed away from me.

“I don’t want to hurt you. I just want to talk.” Drew said.

“Then why did you sneak into my room.” I asked going towards the window.

“I saw you leave and I wanted to talk to you so I just decided to wait in here.” He said.

“I hope you know that takes your creep factor from 99 to 100.” I said still backing towards the window.

“Look, I don’t think that Niall and you are made to end up together so I was just doing you a favor.” He stated.

“Now I know you’re crazy.” I said.

When he turned around frustrated I took the opportunity to climb down the window. As I was climbing I heard Drew shout come back here. I knew he would follow me so all my friends would be safe. When I jumped down from the rope I saw Drew climbing down. I went to make a run for it but Drew was faster than me.
