Chapter 21: I Knew You Were Trouble
Harry
I wake up feeling a little better but then the thought of seeing Lauren today makes me feel both excited and tired. I don’t know if me seeing her is a good idea considering I am trying to get over her.
I think about staying in bed and telling the boys to go to the girls’ house without me but I end up getting up and heading to the kitchen where the boys usually are but they aren’t there. I look in the living to see them crowded by the TV.
“What’s so interesting?” I asked trying to see past them at the TV.
They all turn around smiling.
“I think you weren’t telling the full truth last night.” Liam said, “I think your date with Taylor was better than fine.”
“What do you mean?” I said walking over to them and finally getting a glimpse of what they were staring at.
It was a picture of me and Taylor in my car kissing.
“It’s not what you think…” I start.
“So is she your girlfriend or is she your ex-girlfriend?” Zayn asked.
“No she’s not my girlfriend, but if she was something more than a friend to me why would you think that she would be my ex-girlfriend?” I sat in a chair across from them.
“Because of her new hit single ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’. We just listened to it. We figured that it was just some boy that we didn’t know but after seeing that picture of you and her we figured…” Niall started.
“You figured wrong. We kissed because she wanted to get my mind off of something. I wasn’t feeling all that good.” I said, “The kiss didn’t really mean much. We’re just friends.”
“What was wrong?” Niall asked.
“Doesn’t matter,” I shrugged my shoulders, “I feel better. What time are we going to the girls and why are we going over there knowing Jade doesn’t want you to see Lauren?”
“We’re going in about an hour or two and I get to decide who I hang out with not Jade.” Niall stated boldly.
“Well I’m going to hop in the shower.” I said standing up.
“Don’t you want to eat first?” Niall said, “I made pancakes.”
“Okay. Just two or three I want to hurry up and get ready.” I said walking into the kitchen.

I just listen to the words of the song careful. Could this really be about Harry? This is a break-up song but they were caught kissing last night. I don’t know why but seeing Harry kissing Taylor kind of made me upset. I wouldn’t say that I was jealous I was just wondering what he saw in her.
She wrote songs about her boyfriend’s dumping her and she always makes it seem like they were the one that did something wrong. Then on top of that she used to be a country artist but somewhere along the way in her career she transformed.
I feel sorry for Harry; he has to deal with the paparazzi asking him all these questions about whether or not Taylor’s new song is about him.
“So what do you think about Taylor’s new song about Harry?” Normani asked me snapping me out of my thoughts.
