Chapter 20 {Kamui}

     I turn from the balcony to leave. But at the same time, I hear a series of rushed footsteps beneath the building.

The sight almost strikes me as surprising, but it quickly slides to amusement.

A bunch of Crows seems to be hurrying along the street, opposite of the festival's direction. One of them seems to be dragging someone behind. And by the looks of his white uniform different from others, I guess that's the leader.

Why is the leader being dragged behind?

I grip the banister as my eyes trail behind their retreating forms. A grin blooms on my face as I realize something.

The festival has begun.

And so as the fun.

Since I don't have any plans now, I suppose I should join them. Takasugi might lack some hands should things become uncontrolled.

I push from the railing and go grab my umbrella, then skip out of the room unable to keep out the excitement.

     "Can't let you have all the fun, can I?" I mutter as I blend in with the crowd and head to where my ship is.

It's going to be a very interesting festival indeed.
