Chapter 28

*Cassandra's POV

"oh shoot, mom texted us to come back home" Nash said as he looked at his phone

"Oh, okay then. See ya tomorrow Cassandra!" they all said. I just waved to them. And now, I was alone.

"Hey," Hayes peeked from behind the door. "Can I come in?" 

I giggled "Sure has"

"Hi" he said as he walked to me

"Hi Hayes, why are you here? aren't you supposed to go home with Nash and the other?" I frowned

"Yeah... I just wanna say good night to you" he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. 

"well, Goodnight to you too, hayes" I smiled. He kissed my forehead before he leave. It was weird. He hasn't kissed me for a long time. "See you tomorrow" he said. "Bye has" I waved. Minutes later, Taylor came with a woman and I thought she was his mother. She greeted me and I smiled.

"Hi Cassandra, this is our- I mean... this is my mother." Taylor introduced his mother to me

"Oh hello Mrs. Caniff" I smiled. 

"Uh... I'll leave you two now. So you can get know each other" Taylor suggested and left the room. 

Mrs. Caniff and I talked for hours. It was good to talked to her. She was so kind and caring. She was like my mother. My other mother. I love her. "I love you" I told her and she looked surprised, she smiled. "I love you too, honey" she replied. 5 minutes later, Taylor came back to the room and he whispering something to his mother.

"So Cassandra..." Taylor started to speak

"Yes?" I replied

"There is something we wanted to tell you" Taylor continued

"It's okay. Go ahead!" 

"So,..." Taylor started to tell me about everything what happened to me, I was shocked. 

"So, you're my... brother?" I asked still confused. 

"Yes, I am" I just nodded. 

Later, a doctor came into the room and talked a bit with Mrs. Caniff, then he leave.

"So, Cassandra." Mrs. Caniff said

"Yes, um mom?" it's a little bit odd called her mom but if I called her Mrs. Caniff it will make it more odd, because she is my other mother. she was the one who took care of me during these years.

"Doctor said that you can leave the hospital in 2 days" she explained

"Really? yaaayyy.... I don't like it here" I exclaimed. Taylor and I both giggled.

"Okay kids, Im going to sleep, k? don't be noisy" she laid on the couch and trying to sleep 

"Okay, mom" Taylor and I replied. Taylor and I were talking until 11:30 and I felt sleepy. I yawned

"you sleepy?" Taylor asked. I nodded and rubbed my eyes. "You looked tired. you better go to sleep." 

"Don't leave me" I begged.

he sighed "Okay. I'll sleep here" he laid on a couch next to my bed.

"G'night, Taylor" 

"Goodnight Cassandra"

I was trying to sleep but my phone kept ringing, it was from group chat. I read all of the chat from beginning and it was all hilarious. Cameron always says something hilarious and it makes me laugh. I decided to join the group chat

Me: 'Supp guys

Jack J: Hello there

Cameron: Why aren't u sleeping? It's late at night

Aaron: Can't sleep✌

Me: I'll sing u a lullaby for u, Aaron haha jk

Carter: Can u guys shut up?! I'm tryin' 2 sleep

Me: Go to sleep then

Jack J: It's getting late. I'm going to sleep. Bye guise

Nash: SHUT THE F*UCK UP! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP

I laughed at Nash's text

Me: Okay the. Goodnight guys

Cameron: Bye

Now, I couldn't sleep. great. note the sarcasm

I looked at Taylor who sleep on the couch with mouth opened and I laughed. He was so cute when sleeping. Seddenly, his phone ringing. I grabbed his phone and looked who's calling, it was Allison his girlfriend. He told me about her when we were talking hours ago. Should I pick it up? yes, I should. 

C: Hello?

A: Oh hey, Taylor

C: It's Cassandra

A: Oh sorry. Hi Cassandra!

C: Hey, Allison. How are you?

A: I'm good. you?

C: Great!

A: Why aren't you sleeping? It's already midnight

C: I'm trying to sleep, but I can't

A: Oh okay. Where's Taylor?

C: He is sleeping. You want me to wake him up?

A: No no it's okay. Well, I'll talk to you later. Good night Cassandra

C: k, Good night Allison

-end- 

I was playing Candy Crush on Taylor phone and Taylor woke up. I quickly turn off his phone and pretend to sleep. I could tell he was looking for his phone

"Where's my phone" I could hear he murmured. "Ah whatever" and he started to sleep again. I giggled and started to continue the game. I get bored a little so I decided to turn on the music, I plugged Taylor's headphone and turn on Can We Dance - The Vamps and went to phone gallery. There was a lot photo of Taylor and I. I looked all of the photos one by one and there was a few photo of him and another guys like Cameron, Nash, Aaron, and the other. I zoomed in one of those photo. In that photo, it was 13 of us including me. Taylor, Hayes, and Aaron were smiling simply in the photo, Cameron was kissing Nash's cheek and Nash looked shock, Carter and Shawn posed peace sign, the Jacks smiled showing their teeth, and Jacob&Mahogany were hugging. And there was me. There was me with a boy, we both eating cakepops. He was wearing a beanie and a white t-shirt. who is this? 

My head getting havier and I felt a little bit sleepy. So, I decided to sleep. I'll ask Taylor about this boy tomorrow morning
