I'M A GRIER?!

Chapter 24

*Cassandra's POV

"Cassandra?" she called my name. Wait, how did she know that? She walked toward me slowly, her face was pale, and her hands were shaking.

"Ca-cassandra, i-is it you?" she spoke holding my hands. Damn, her hands were so cold

"Y-yeah it's me. i-it's me" I replied. I had no idea what is going on here. All of the guys were looking at me with confused look

"You... y-you are back. You're back, Cassandra. Oh my gosh thank you" she said as she pulled me into hug. I could feel her heartbeat, it was beating so fast. I had no idea how to replied her words

"I-im sorry. I-i have no idea... what you are t-talking about" I replied

"You're back Cassandra! You're safe now with us" she let out tears

What the hell is going on here? I had no idea what she is talking about but, I felt bad for her

"I-im sorry. I need to go" I said quickly and flashed a smile.

I ran out from the house and Hayes chased me. Hayes shouted my name over and over again but I didn't respond it. I could feel tears started falling from my eyes, the question is why am I crying? Okay, I felt bad for Hayes' mom but I didn't know why. I ran until I reach a small lake

"Cassandra..." Hayes shouted from behind. I looked behind and saw him controlling his breathe. I ran toward him and hugged him tightly.

"Hayes?" I sobbed

"Yeah?" he replied rubbing my back. "Why are you crying?" 

"Hayes, I fel bad for your mom."

"Shhh... don't crying, baby."

"I don't know why but I feel so bad for your mom. Why was she crying?"

"She's just emotional sometimes. Sshhh... don't crying please" he wiped the tears from my cheeks

"B-but why??? Why, Hayes? Why I feel bad for her?" I sobbed

Hayes lead me to sit on a large rock at the edge of a lake. 

"I wanna tell you something..." Hayes said

"J-just tell me"

"So... I used to have a twin sister," he stopped for a moment and continued "she looked like you. One day, when we were 5, my family and I went to California for vacation. We went to beach in the last day, and it happened."

"what is happened?"

"Car accident. It was raining when we were in our way to back to hotel, Our car crashed into a cliff and ... boom," he started to cry "The police tried their best to find my twin sister, but they never find her." he sobbed "my mother started to stressed out a few months of knowing her beloved daughter had gone... But when she looked at you, she saw her daughter... you looks like her, your brunette hair, your... bright blue eyes. You looks like her" he said as he holding my cheek

"What's her name?"

"Cassandra..."

"She has a same name with me"

"Yeah"

I started to cry again. "Ssshhh... please don't cry" Hayes said and pulled me into hug

"You wanna back to home? It's getting dark here," he asked and I gave him a single nod. "Come on!"

It started drizzling, so Hayes and I decided to run because didn't want to wet. We arrived and Hayes knocked the door. 

"Wait" I heard someone said from inside. The door opened and there was Nash "Come on in, Now mom has calm, she is in the kitchen with the guys" he said and looked at me "yes, you looks like her" he continued in whisper. We walked in to the kitchen to meet the guys, I walked toward Taylor and hugged him

"I wanna go home" I said quietly. 

"Yes, we'll be home soon" 

"Cassandra?" someone shook my shoulder and I looked behind. There was Hayes' mom with weak smile. I hugged her for no reason and she hugged back. I started to cry again but I don't know why "I'm sorry" I whisper.

It was 9 pm and the rain was so heavy making it impossible to return to the hotel. We were hanging out in Nash's room until our manager  called Taylor. He said that we should back to hotel now. So we get ready and walked downstairs

"Where are you guys going?" Mrs. Grier said

"We will back to hotel, mom" Nash replied

"But, it's raining outside and it's thundering too" she said worriedly

"It's okay mom. Bye. I love ya" Nash said and walked outside, we followed him

"Good night, Mrs. Grier" I said before left

"Good night, Cassandra" she hugged me.

We walked outside and get in the car. I was in the same car with Taylor, Matt, Shawn, Nash, and Hayes. Taylor drove us to hotel. the rain was getting havier while we were driving back to the hotel and steam on the windshield makes it difficult to see the road. Shawn was sleeping, Hayes and I were talking each other telling some knock knock jokes, Taylor and Matt were singing along while music playing in radio. The rain was getting heavier and havier and then
