You will be fixed little girl

"Dumb girl, she can't even tell what she's suppose to do. It's like anything we tell her goes straight through her brain."

"Yes, yes, she was always a dumb girl. She even thinks she's a boy! She is a girl, and should start acting like one, my, she doesn't even clean her damn room! That is not lady like!"

I stared as I watched people around me talk and talk, I don't understand them, but I know what they're saying, and it's always about me.

"She's also clearly insane! She is always looking around at nothing and talking to herself like no one is there! There's a screw lose in her brain! We need to get her to a therapist!"

"But therapist are scary ma'am." I join in the conversation.

"Oh silly girl, they are not, they are your friend!"

"But you say I don't have any ma'am."

"I mean they are going to help you."

"Help me with what? The last one touched me in odd places."

"Stupid girl, you were imagining things. They're going to help you be normal, that's all. Just turn you into a normal little girl."

'They will hurt you. You're normal. They don't like you.' I hear the voice whisper in my head.

"Why don't you like me ma'am?"

She looks at me with an expression I'm not familiar with, something that is not her fake face.

"I like you dear, I love you so much! I'm glad to be your oh so wonderful guardian sweetie!" She's going to ramble her false lies. I look around the neat room and saw a little girl at the door way. We locked eyes and she ran away.

"Wait miss!" I got up from my chair and bowed, "Excuse me."

I ran out the door and the direction I saw her run. I grasp sight of a figure turning the corner, that must be her. I continue to run towards the sign when I finally end up at a door.

'Experiment 25' It read on the door label.

An experiment? Does the girl visit them?

I open the door and saw what seemed to have been a cliche prison room. The little girl sitting on her bed.

"Hello, I saw you as Ma'am was talking to mystery guy." The girl seemed a bit scared. She has scratches and bruises all over her, cuts and marks, small hole marks, and scars, her pupils seeming non-existant. She looked like a mess. Her hair all shagged, as if no one has combed it down properly, and her clothing looking like neat versions of rags.

"Are you okay?" I look at her with my head tilted.

"You're not aloud here. If they find you you'll be in trouble."

"I've been in trouble before. But I can take it. Ma'am beats me a lot, and her friends play with me every week."

  "Play with you?"

"Yeah, they call it a game of fun. They'd tell me things to do, take off clothing, sit still, touch their area, things like that, and then they would force themselves in me many times, it always hurts, and takes a few days for me to recover by myself. I never like it, but if I didn't play with them in that game they would tell Ma'am I hurt them. Then I would almost drown."

She looked  at me with a face I haven't seen before. Her eyebrows where pointing up and her mouth into a frown.

She went up and hugged me. It wasn't painful, it was gentle. I never knew someone could hug like this.

  "Are you okay miss?"

  "Kia."

  "Pardon?"

"My name is Kia, call me Kia."

"Well hello Miss Kia, my name is *Static*"

  "What?"

I looked at her with a questioning glance as we let go of our hug.

"Your name What was is again?"

  "*Static*"

  "All I hear is static?"

  "Oh no." It happened again.

"Whats wrong?" I shook my head and placed a false smile on my face.

"Nothing, nothing, anyways, I should be heading back, Ma'am will hit me the more I stray. I'm at a six minute point, meaning I should hurry before it's 10." I walked back to the door and turned around to face Kia. "Until we meet again madam." I waved my hand, her responding with the same gesture. I closed the door and ran back to the room. They were still chatting. I sat back in my seat and listen in.

"Yes, give us custody of her, and we shall return her to normal. A nut case like her would take about, I don't know, an estimate of two months?" The man in white scares me. I don't want him to look after me. He smells worse than Ma'am. His aroma sends evil worse than my thoughts.

"Good good, this child is retched. It's like before she was born someone already dropped her on a staircase!"

"Just sign this, and send in the money by the next two weeks. Once that is done, we will have someone take her, and everything will be fixed."

I saw Ma'am grab a pen and sign the paper, "Ma'am, why are you giving me to the mean men?"

"Now don't be so rude girl. I'm not giving you away. I'm fixing you."

"Ma'am I don't want to be fixed like this."

"Well it's the only way you stupid stupid girl. You will be fixed. I have to spend all my allowance on you getting someone to fix you, this is the best there is! No other choice and no other option. Now, I want you to pack your stuff when we get home, you have two weeks to pack everything, got it?" I nodded without a word. Is this what it means to be insane? How people care for you?

They continued to sign papers, and we headed home.

Two weeks I was working on packing everything up and cleaning my room. No sleep was allowed until everything was done, but I sneaked in a few short naps to give me some stamina.  My hallucinations have gotten worse with my lack of sleep, and sometimes it was hard to tell what parts of my room I cleaned, and what parts are not even truly there.

After I finished, Ma'am allowed me to sleep the rest of the second week. I fell on the empty mattress and slept for two days.

A man arrived at the door to pick me up. I looked at him. He wasn't looking anywhere near friendly.

The man who took me wasn't friendly at all. He was worst than Ma'am.
