831 is a texting code I've always kept in mind since I discovered it. I always sent it to a certain someone but never told them the meaning.

It was a fun little thing I played with them. Sometimes they'd try to interrogate me, making me giggle. They're always so cute trying to crack the meaning.

MIDORIYA'S POV

Yes, I send him the code from time to time, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't even care about the text. The only time he responded to it was with "wtf? The hell r u doing wierdo".

Everything else was quiet.

One day, I decided to start sending him cryptograms, he's not one to seem like it, but I was hoping he still liked to decipher them like when we were kids.

I sent him one cryptogram through a note in his locker, "KDYH BRX HYHU KHDUG RI WKH WHUX'V IRU 831?"

Each day after I've sent him little notes through cryptograms in text font. From simple things like, "did you forget your umbrella again?" To something a bit more out of normal like "The code 831 is more than you think Katsuki.", though I wish I saw his reaction if he ever did decipher it, but I admit he might seem more weirded out than anything else.

I was sitting at my desk waiting for class as I chat with Uraraka and Iida per usual.

I've noticed Kacchan hasn't arrived at class yet, so being later than he usually arrives, getting me a tad worried.

The whole day Kacchan wasn't at school, thoughts have flew through my head the whole time, is he sick? Did he get hurt? Had a villian kidnapped him on his way to school? DID SOMEONE KILL HIM?

To lower my anxiety I decided to visit Kacchan and check if he is okay.

After school I headed straight for his home, knocking on the door.

His mother answered as I bowed on greeting before talking, 'Hi Mrs. Bakugo, is Kacchan home? Kacchan hasn't been at school and I got worried."

She chuckled and smiled, 'He's fine Midoriya, the twerp just got himself sick with staying up all night mumbling about something stupid.' She looked agitated as she talked about her temperamental son.

I sigh, 'It's good to know Kacchan's safe, um... may I see Kacchan?'

Her eyes lowered as her face soften from her annoyance look and she nods. 'You know where his room is, go ahead, I'm sure he would like some company, if you ever need help yell got it?'

I nodded and took my shoes off, heading towards Kacchans door afterwards.

I knocked and I heard a muffled 'it's unlocked get in.'

I open the door and see him laying in bed, back towards me.

'H-hey, Kacchan.', he didn't seem to react that much compared to other times, maybe he's just too tired to notice?

'The fück you want sh!tty Deku...', his voice rough and tired.

'Kacchan wasn't at sc-chool. S-s-so I came to check on Kacchan.'

'Well you checked on me go away now you sh!t.'

I sighed, 'Kacchan, Mrs. Bakugo told me Kacchan got himself sick staying up all night doing something.'

Kacchan groaned, 'I didnt ask for a fücking lecture by you.'
