Six

Ethan Miller.

      I almost gave in to the temptation of leaning in and kissing her senselessly until we're out of breath and drowning in ecstasy but instead I left her waiting.

  Out of anger, I slammed on the brakes abruptly just to control my lust filled state.

In, out , in, out.

   I quietly breath repeatedly to myself trying to clear my mind off of Venus , and her full pink kissable lips, and her adorabl......

  What was I thinking ,I'm trying not to think about her and yet that's what I'm doing.

   Loudly I groaned to myself in anger once more as I began to feel my raging di*k standing up tall slowly making itself known. 

   I swerved back to the highway making a u-turn to my apartment to take a very cold shower.

  " Miller ".

  I heard my name being called from afar all of a sudden as I turned to meet the piercing gaze of my captain.

"Where have you been?". He asked creasing his eyebrows in question.

   "I was out, had to deal with something important". I replied.

As in a very tall proud member. I groaned internally.

  "Well I hope it was more important than your assigned case ". He asked once again standing in an akimbo.

  I sighed deeply before selecting a few words carefully,

"Nothing will make me not turn away from my duties captain".

Except a fiery haired woman.

  "But I was out visiting a friend". I concluded lightly.

   He stood straight before talking,

"Alright but get back to work". He said as he turned to leave.

"Okay sir".

  I needed to get my head back in the game fast and seriously.

  I headed in the direction of my cubicle only to find Shawn deep in thought staring at the assigned case we were dealing with.

  As if on cue, he looked up and saw me staring at him. He stood up immediately as if he was intimidated by my presence and he began to fumble with the papers in front of him as I laughed amusedly to myself.

"What is it Shawn?". I asked still laughing.

He bit his lip silently before looking up to meet my eyes.

"What?!". I asked impatiently.

  "Well while you were away I was trying to make an algorithm of how Sinbad moves in and out of the city unnoticed and I found something". He said excitedly as we engaged in a conversation.

   Shawn pulled up the car into an abandoned warehouse just at the side trying to hide is away from plain view. 

  "Are you sure that this is the place?". I asked silently while drawing out my gun.

"Yeah". He answered assuredly.

  We began to approach the building slowly and quietly. We entered in and began to scan to place.

   I signalled Shawn to survey the other side.

    As I began to walk, i heard a noise and went after it only to see someone fleeing away from the site.

"Shawn!!". I shouted as i began to pursue after the man.

   I heard Shawn's footsteps behind me ,i stood and fired a shot just close to him and he stopped falling to the ground.

Shawn approached him and said,
  "Put your hands behind your head". he said as he cuffed him and began to drag him back to our car to drive to the station for interrogation.

    The door clicked open as i entered into the apartment and shut the door behind me. I glanced at the clock as it read 9:42pm. I sighed deeply before heading to the refrigerator to grab a plate of ramen and putting it into the microwave for warming.

  The phone began to ring and i picked it up,

"Hello", a voice said from the other line.

  I could recognize that voice anywhere, that soft voice that made me jump any time i hear from her, i wondered why she's calling unexpectedly.

"Hello Ethan or am i speaking to Ethan?". she asked hesitantly.

"Its Ethan, Venus". i replied after a while.

"Oh I thought it was a wrong number". she said.

"No its not". i answered. "Is everything okay? Do you need me to come over?". I asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, i just wanted to thank you for today. For keeping me company when I needed someone and for the pizza, i enjoyed it". She chuckled lightly.

I smiled,
"Well if its okay we can do it some other time?". I said silently hoping she would agree.

She paused before she spoke again,
"Sure that'll be great maybe some other time".

I almost jumped but instead i have an air punch to congratulate myself well done.

"Okay goodnight"

"Yeah goodnight".

  I was so happy that i forgot about the ramen that was still in the oven waiting to be eaten.

"Well done Mr. Miller"  I said as i patted to myself.

"You did a good job".

   She was a woman that I'm never gonna let slip away from my hands. I will make her mine whatever happens but i couldn't just do that to a married woman but nevertheless it was something i was willing to do to get that golden woman.
