Today's the day. First day at Northwood. The hell hole.

Holy shit.

"Isabella! Come to get breakfast!" I sighed checking my outfit one last time.

Perfect. I smile in satisfaction.

I walk done stairs taking the attention of my dad who put a plate down and began flipping more pancakes.

"Wow, blueberry and raspberry pancakes, you haven't made those in a while." I laughed taking a bite of them.

"Yeah, thought it would be a good breakfast for today." I smile and look at my dad flip another pancake, he stopped, turned around and grabbed a light pink bag with gold accents. "Your mother picked it out for you."

"It's cute," I slide my phone inside one of the pockets and then close it again.

"Yeah, I'm gonna drop you off before I go to class."

I nod, finishing my pancakes. As I watch my dad slid me a dark grey water bottle.

"You'll need this for soccer practice."

I hug him and then begin to ascend to his car, catching the eye of Slate.

The boy next door.

I smirk at him before he hops into his black convertible.

He didn't smile back, instead, he raised his eyebrow acknowledging me.

Rich prick.

"Ready to go?" My dad asks taking me out of thought.
