**Previously**

"Who's is this?"

"Mine, I brought it just in case. Never know."

"What a gentleman, it's a good look on you."

"Many things look good on me."

"Noted."

I smile then hearing a knock on the door taking me out of my thoughts.

"I'm making eggs you want anything?" I laugh then respond.

"I'm fine, Noah. I'm good with that."

I think I'm starting to like Slate Edwards.

Saturday.

 The weekend.

My days off from the endless amount of work that acquires you to even attend Northwood.

Although my weekends felt lonely, Sundays, I particularly enjoyed due to, Sunday breakfast with my dad, and now, soccer practice. I texted Noah, feeling like I had no other way out of the loneliness I felt.

Noah?

Yes?

Do you wanna come over?

Can't. I'm meeting with Levin we are going to a bookstore.

Is that a date? Does that mean you're a thing?

Nope. Still friends, but I am trying, after what happened at the party, we talked and he said to keep it as a friendship.

What happened at the party?

We danced and kissed.

What the hell? You didn't tell me?

I'm sorry, got to go to Levin's here.

Okay.

Once again I was lonely.

Something I was slowly getting used to.

Not that I wanted to, but it was inevitable. Like death, or not eating. Which scared me.

I decided to take a walk. Lucky for me, I had a creek nearby. I began walking putting my headphones on and adjusting my bag which had my bathing suit in it; in case I got hot.

I walked for 20 minutes before hearing the familiar sound of water trickling. I smiled feeling comforted. I made my way down the slope and sat on a rock that was shaded by some tree branches. I placed down my sunglass, and myself, and closed my eyes, laying back on the rock.
