She cupped my waist, and my tongue sought entrance. I was breathing heavily.

She brought her finger to entangle my hair, and I let out a soft moan, aware she just did.

She let go, and we were both breathing heavily.

"I love you." She muttered through deep breaths.

I let out a chuckle, "I love you too."

Bella's P.O.V:

It felt strange being home. Wrapped between Slates arms again.

After being in the hospital and in and out of therapy sessions. Life finally felt good. Calm.

"Prom is Saturday.'' Slate said casually.

"Shit! I need to go dress shopping! Get my hair done! Get my nails done! I need-"

Slate met his lips to mine, immediately calming every nerve in my body

"I love you, but you need to calm down. I haven't even asked you yet." He said smirking.

"Right..." I giggled.

"Kiiiddss..." My mother's voice warned.

"Sorry, Mrs. Greene." Slate said with an adorable smile.

She rolled her eyes and gave a cheeky smile before walking into the kitchen.

I stood up, from Slate's warmth and walked towards the kitchen.

"Mom. We need to go dress shopping."

She gave me a soft smile, "already got you covered, I called Skylar and Leah, you guys will go dress shopping tomorrow, at 4."

I nodded, "there better be some cute ones, soccer has kept me in shape, and I've been on my ass for days, not sure what I'll look good in."

I felt hands slip through my arms, "you'll look good in everything"

Slate kissed my cheek, and sat down at the island, I followed sitting next to him, my mom turning around to cook some mac-n-cheese.

Slate leaned over to me, his lips nibbling the side of my ear. "you'll look even better after I tear those clothes of off you." He whispered.

My whole body erupted in goosebumps and I smirked at Slate.

He winked at me, before standing up. "Can I help with anything?"

My mom rolled her eyes, "don't act like I didn't hear you, mister."

Slate eyes went wide and his cheeks went red.
