**Previously**
Returning home, I got a ride from Noah. I thanked him and walked inside my house, expecting to see my dad cooking. He wasn't. I was alone. I run upstairs to my room, and check my Instagram, before turning on Netflix.
What a day.

Holden. I wanted to talk to him, but he was always around Ava and Slate. Always talking, but I wanted to talk to him. I had to. I needed to figure out something.
Something involving Slate.
Lucky for me, we had the same free period. He smiled at me, as I walked through the gym.
"What are you doing here?"
"I thought I could run, since Slate isn't here, trying to kick my ass with warm up. What are you doing here?"
"Only place where I can relax without being distracted."
I nod narrowing my eyes, "what are you doing that you don't need distracted?"
He smirked, "working out"
I fanned sarcastically. Mouthing, "wow"
"I know, I'm pretty hot."
"Get your head out your ass." I snorted and began running, trying not to look at Holden.
Damn he made me so embarrassing, mainly because of our...encounter.
He began to take his shirt off and my face got hot, I blushed feeling queasy, still running.
"Don't embarrass yourself," I comment making my voice less shaky.
"I say the same to you" noticing my shielding eyes.
"Hey, Holden, can you help grab the weights?"
I turn seeing Slate walking in unlocking the gym door.
Dammit, just as I was about to ask him...
"How the hell do you have the coach's keys?" I ask, beginning to stop running. He groaned as if hearing my voice annoyed him. I crossed my arms together placing them on my chest raising one my eyebrows.
"The coach gave them to me..." he said looking at me like I was stupid
"Yeah, I know asshole, why did he give them to you?" I retorting hearing Holden laugh, I smirk then begin running again.
"Holden grab those two I'll grab these three," Slate asked ignoring my question; Holden grabbed them setting them down next to the bleachers that covered the majority of the walls around the gym all connected.
Slate placed down the other three and continue to grabbing more while Holden continued his push-ups.
"Greene. Can you run a few more laps? I need you to catch up to the others." He smirked, and I stopped sitting down wiping the sweat off my face and taking a sip of my water.
