"Never mind. It's not important. I have to go." I got up stumbling a bit but got my balance Slate grabbed my hand and pulled me close, his eyes meeting my lips then landing on my eyes.
"Everything you say is important." He completed pulling me in for a tight hug. I kissed his cheek before waving goodbye.
I'm dreading going home.

I woke up in my own bed, hearing the deafening sound of an alarm clock. Sunday. The day before the beginning of hell.
I heard the sound of a car in my driveway, then a slam of a door, before the sound of another door opening. My heart pounded and I sat up on my bed before hearing.
"Bella?"
The voice was Slate. I took a deep breath and relaxed, laying back down in my bed. I covered my face with the covers before it was knocked right off me.
"Good morning." Slate leaned down to kiss me on the head. I smiled then sat back up on my bed. He rubbed my back. "You have a nice room." He commented looking around.
I looked at my phone replying with a quick ''Mmhm"
He laughed and got up picking me up, "come on, I'm hungry. Get in the shower and let's go."
He pushed me through the bathroom still continuing to carry me and starting the shower. "I'm going to stalk your household while you do that. I need to find all your secrets." He smirked at me, and I still didn't respond getting into the shower.
After the shower, I put on some white leggings and a white loose top and a skin toned sweater with white sneakers. Walking downstairs I see the grin on Slates face as he looked at my tired face.
"Did you sleep alright?" He asked and I nodded yawning. He put his hand on my head and hugged me. I closed my eyes wrapping my arm around his back.
"I'm starving." I muffle through my face pressed on Slate's chest.
"She speaks." He smirked at me and I scoffed.
