"She was just talking about how you always talk about me" I laughed, patting his shoulder. His mom looking embarrassed, and my mom crinkling her nose at me.

Slate starred at his mother before turning to me. "Whatever boosts your ego." He finished leaning against my stairs. I heard the sound of a car and realized Noah was here.

"You ready?" I asked grabbing a sweatshirt, Slate fixing his collar.

"Yeah" he muttered stepping outside and holding the door open for me. Then closing it after I opened the mini copper. He followed keeping his hands tucked in his pockets and getting into the car sitting next to Levin smirking at him before looking out the window. I smiled looking at Noah.

"Ready to go straight?" he asked putting on some music.

"Let's do it gay." I complete putting on my seat belt and laughing at Slate who was sighing at his phone.

Levin looked out the window while Slate texted and swiped. Noah and I listened to music settling on a Drake song, that interested Slate. We bopped our head, as Levin turned to Noah.

"How longs the concert?''Levin asked watching Noah turn down the music a bit Noah replied, "2 hours. It ends at 10."

I groan. "My moms gonna be home. My dad is in L.A and my mom doesn't work late tonight." Noah rolled his eyes, and I frowned, "well, you can't sleep over my house, my parents don't like girls over. They think it'll confuse me." We laughed before Slate interrupted.

"You could stay at my place. I mean you live right next door, and my mom and sister are staying with my grandparents for a few days." I sighed dramatically. "Wow. Quick to have me over. Damn you really are a player." Slate rolled his eyes again, "don't flatter yourself."

Noah looked at me and I winked. "We're here." He commented getting out of the car and opening the door for Levin who has been annoyingly quiet. Slate opened mine and I thanked him as Noah took Levin by the hand and led us through the crowd. Slate stood behind me and looked very uncomfortable and I laughed at his vacant expression. He mimicked me back and I smirked.

We made our way over to a corner that was far enough away from the stage before Levin sat down on the grass. "Does anyone want drinks?'' He asked his voice a bit shaky.

"No." Slate and I answered simultaneously. We both laugh awkwardly. Noah furrows his eyes at us before sighing, "I'll take one." They both walk off somewhere and Slate and I begin to sit down and I look up exposing my face up to the sky looking at the sunset.

"Isn't it scary?'' I asked, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath in to smell the comforting smell of food.

"What?'' Slate replied his face still lost in his mind.

"Sunsets."

"Sunsets?'' He repeated his tone confused.
