"Slate? Where are you taking me?" I giggle.
He smiles and grabs my hand.
He goes behind me and puts a sleeping mask on my face.
I laugh again, "Slate?"
I feel him grab my hand and squeeze it reassuringly.
I smile and take a deep breath.
"Do you trust me?"
I nod, "with everything in my being."
"Good." He grabs my hand and pulls me towards him.
I smile and feel my feet touch flooring.
I hear a door open and I laugh. "I swear if you are going to scare me again."
I feel his hand leave mine. Not a word was spoken.
"Bella. You can take off your blindfold."
I laugh and take it off.
Red rose petals littered the floor. I look the white dress on our bed. My eyes land on...
Slate.
Down on one knee.
A black box in his hand.
With a beautiful diamond ring popping out.
I feel the tears come down my face.
I fall to the ground. Slate smiles and goes up me wiping my tears. He laughs.
"Isabella Ruth Greene. When you moved to San Fransisco for the first time I was skeptical of you. You were so different. You were so perfect. You joined the soccer team. You were the best on the team. You were amazing at so many things."
He looks at me, and smiles.
"You made me feel things I never thought I could. You made me want to be a better person. Love. Allow myself to truly be happy. I dreamed of this moment for ages. Since prom I knew I wanted to be the only person to put a ring on those pretty little fingers, and be the last one too."
I smiled and he wipes away a tear from my eyes.
"I want to marry you. Grow old with you. Have my first kid with you. I want you to be my first on everything. I want you to be my forever."
I nod and look at the ring and back at him.
"Bella, will you marry me?"
I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck. "Fuck yeah."
He laughs and slips the ring on my finger and then kisses me.
